We're so thrilled that Virginia's Connie Britton helped out candidate @lilyfordelegate.bsky.social, running for House of Delegates in Southwest Virginia. Weāve been running this spot in District 41 ahead of the election and wanted to be sure we shared on social media as well.
This campaign isnāt about politics ā itās about people. No one knows more about people power than @iamwesmoore.bsky.social. It was an honor to have you here in Blacksburg. Letās go win this thing!

My opponent just revealed heās taken tens of thousands of dollars from utility companiesāwhile those companies are raising our rates. Politicians should be accountable to their voters, not big corporations.

"I have five generations of my family here, and I understand what itās like to struggle to make ends meet and how it matters whether or not your electric bill is $5 more, $5 less. That that can be the difference between making ends meet for the month." virginiaindependentnews.com/elections/ho...
In 2023, @lilyfordelegate.bsky.social⬠came close to flipping this seatāand now sheās back to finish the job.
Her opponent voted against protecting abortion access in Virginia. Weāre endorsing Lily because sheās the reproductive freedom champion we need in Richmond.
The VPFF does incredible work to champion our firefighters. It's an honor to have their support, and I'm looking forward to working with them and their members to ensure our firefighters have the resources they need to continue protecting our communities.

Thank you to everyone who donated to help folks affected by the Russell county floods, but we canāt rely on donations alone. As a legislator, one of my top priorities will be to ensure SWVA gets the funding it needs to fully fund disaster relief and resiliency efforts.
Our hearts go out to those impacted by the flash flood in Russell County.
My Blacksburg office will be collecting supplies for the relief efforts.
Please see this article for a list of the supplies needed.

Students are some of the most engaged and thoughtful advocates for the issues that matter to them. As Evelyn said, "We cannot trust that the federal government will protect such rights, so we have to demand that protection from our state legislators." roanoke.com/opinion/lett...
