The old "I am stuck on band-aid brand cause band-aid's stuck on me" jingle would make a perfect opening riff to Casey Jones

Does anybody know what the jam from Rosemont is that's featured in Between Me and My Mind? It's the end of some type 2 jam that clearly got off the rails, but the movie gives us no other information than "Rosemont"

Movie was alright! Lot of really beautiful shots and smart use of colors and lights. The script and performances leave a lot to be desired, which is a bummer.

Crowd is now angrily yelling OZZY, who was not in the montage. He was definitely alive when the montage was made ten years ago

Wish you were here end solo visuals is just a montage of, initially, the dead members of Pink Floyd. Then every classic rocker who ever died?? Morrison, Joplin, Hendrix, Garcia, Lennon, Harrison, Marley, Ray Vaughn, Bowie, Prince, Mercury, Cobain

Bob Weir Never Let a Song Sit Still What made Bob Weir such a special musician, to me

Wrote a little bit about Bob Weir, and an element of his musicianship that I’ve always appreciated

Very pretty quiet section starting about 28 minutes in! Synth heavy with some nice guitar over top, reminds me of an ending jam in a Floyd song. Actually they might just be jamming on the chords to Time??

Kind of reminds me, musically, of what Daft Punk does in their piece “Giorgio” - starting with how jam rock started with the Grateful Dead’s early sound then pushing into the funkier and electronic stuff that came in their wake

Hot bluesy jam in the first ten minutes, very reminiscent of The Dead, before they fade away to a funkier kinda thing. This makes me feel how those house music remixes of Dead songs want to make me feel

Listening to the 56 minute Other One jam that Spafford played the other night. Figured with “56 minute Other One” they’d jam a little before going into the intro of the song. But no, right on it. Good on them

Just heard a Grateful Dead themed subway announcement from Andy Cohen?? He said something about Cornell 77 and worked in “I know you rider.”
