I love the show. I do think even Santos’s confrontational scenes with Langdon would’ve been stronger if she’d had a compelling storyline of her own—maybe one that connected to Frank’s gaslighting her in S1. Trying to chart does seem like a Sisyphean task, but it is for all the characters. #ThePitt

I definitely sympathized with the charting challenge, but it was kind of the same every time, and it didn’t lead to great dramatic scenes.

I really like this article. I’m obsessed with The Pitt and it’s the first I’ve heard about fandom squabbles because I’m not as online these days. I wonder: is being intensely involved and aware of the opinions of many strangers the best way to watch a show, regardless of what those opinions are?

I think criticism of books (and maybe TV and movies) has gone too far in the direction of “it’s problematic because the characters make mistakes.” Like…that’s the story! You would make mistakes too if you were doing things 😂
