Bsky, we can't lean into a future where regulating social media means blanket rules that enforce unwanted censorship. The responsibility needs to be on the creator to label, and on the consumer to filter out the unwanted based on it. Not on gradually eliminating more and more content altogether.

I love that we have saved posts! I do, and I don't want to take away that amazing gift the devs have given us.

But... you know what would really get me excited? Closed circles. As in being able to make a post that only certain people could see and respond to. Like private groups.

Every artist I’ve ever known has this itch to create that won’t go away until they create. They have to do it.

It’s why I know the “finally, someone like me can make art” AI users are full of shit. What they really mean is “finally, a way to get social media likes without hard work”.

It sucks when you like someone who hates their own guts.
Of course it also sucks to BE that person.

But its rough knowing no amount of admiration or care can make them believe you see their worth.

Its like they are under an evil spell.

The neurodivergent experience of asking someone for feedback and genuinely wanting feedback and being frustrated when they just say “it’s great!” vs when they ask you for feedback and you invest time/energy in providing thoughtful feedback and they get upset you didn’t just say “it’s great!”

I wish it was that easy 😔
