I was just listening to this new track on Bandcamp (they emailed me about it earlier) and it's wonderful. Can't wait for the album!

I hope my friends on Substack will once again consider leaving the service that gives a platform to abhorrent people like Andrew Tate.
AI does mean you need fewer people on your engineering team, but this was true before the LLM uprising. One from the archives.

I think today was Peak Trump. 100% pure derangement, deception, and delusion. Even his most fanatical followers will now be admitting (to themselves) he’s cooked.

Absolute tool. Convince me otherwise.
Same as Bear’s I guess
Moderation is automated already. I’m just not sure discover is a great feature personally, but people seem to want it
Waiting on obsidian to review and publish. They have a backlog. Also I’m on holiday.
Thanks!
Any solution has to be _fully automated_ too. I don't have the bandwidth or the inclination to intervene other than removing dodgy posts (which is also automated rn)
The screenshot is from a working version that's for my eyes only btw.
Customers often ask me for a Pagecord 'Discover' page like on Bear Blog. Good idea but I don't feel there's the critical mass of blogs and posts yet (getting close tho'). I'm also slightly perturbed by Pika's decision to turn off their version (pika.pika.page/posts/were-...). Thoughts?
Can’t get enough of this. If the apocalypse happens tonight at least I’ll being going down happy to this spaced out and moody electropop soundtrack ✌️ ☮️ open.spotify.com/album/6BfQzQ...
I really enjoyed the @newyorker.com doc on Netflix. Such dedication to quality journalism. Shame the industry is on its knees. I’ll need to hunt out the occasional issue to support it.
I made a playlist or last nights Obscure Pet Shop Boys performance at the Electric Ballroom. So good! #petshopboys

I’ve not used this one from Spotify but I can see how this might make sense. Still, it feels like they could just make recommendations and surfacing new releases a lot better and remove the need for this at all. Lazy?
Relatable @pagecord.com
The equivalent of touch screen UIs I modern cars and appliances. But worse.
People actually want buttons and switches, but ones that have been carefully considered as necessary to efficient use and functionality.
It’ll come back around eventually.
Great song, wonderful album
