The moaning Arsenal used to do when Bolton played against them like they're doing to PSG. Wonder if it counts as 'football' now?

Donnarumma being Dracula again... Arsenal have to get at Hakimi and play for free-kicks/corners
He talks as if it has nothing to do with him! Massive summer ahead. Has to get his team and then get them going early. Promotion the only result that's good enough next season
Essentially, we've got a team of softarses with absolutely no pace. Needs a big old change in the summer. Sticking with Evatt for most of the January window when it was clear it wasn't working was a massive mistake. And badly need a goalscorer. Apart from that, it's all good
What an absolute disgrace of a season this has been for Bolton, given our resources in that division. Massive summer ahead - hopefully Schumacher looks at himself too, gets in some players he wants and then we hit the ground running next season. We HAVE to go up next season
Big summer for Schumacher. After the initial bounce he doesn't seem to have been able to get a tune out of this lot. Hopefully getting in some of his own players will do the trick
Also, a goal difference of -1 for a team in 8th is an absolute disgrace
I remember when Aaron Collins was good. That seems like a long, long time ago
Woeful. Not having a shot on target is unforgivable
The newspaper production team are baffled by this talk of a 'four-day weekend'!
That is also never a pen
That is never a pen. Attacker isn't even getting in the same postcode as the ball. One for people who like rules more than football
Surely with five defeats in the last seven, some part of it is on him, too?
We are such a weak team, mentally and physically
My legs are in better working order than Gethin Jones', and I'm 40 and have had had a pint
I assumed you would learn more about a player in the final minute (decision making etc) when they're tired, than before. But then again, they will watch a ridiculous amount of games
A lot of scouts used to leave before the end of matches, which I find mad. My dad randomly sat next to an Aston Villa scout at Holland v Argentina at France 98. The scout left before the end and missed the Bergkamp goal. Thought that was ridiculous. I've also seen plenty of scouts go before the end
MSM as the acronym for mainstream media really winds me up because Mainstream is one word. There, I said it
The Diddler, the Penguin and the Joker?
Not conceding the first goal in 90% of matches would be a start. Some of the players have coasted through the last couple of years. If we miss out on play-offs, squad changes are needed, and especially more pace
Sure the Premier League was North West-heavy 15 or so years ago. Southern clubs more attractive to money than middling Northern ones. And have all those clubs used data etc better in the past decade?
One day we might not concede the first goal in a game. Absolutely ridiculous under Schumacher, and it wasn't great under Evatt
Surely one of them should be played by alpacino
If Mitchell plays for Arsenal and Myles Lewis-Skelly plays for Palace, Mitchell is in the squad and starting
Colin Hart was a brilliant journalist, going to boxing shows right up to his late 80s and writing superb, insightful columns right up to a month ago. RIP Harty www.thesun.co.uk/sport/339944...
They had to put the names of goalscorers in capital letters so the sub-editors wouldn't cut them out as everything was being done so fast
I bet the opponents' best header isn't on Gabriel though, because he'd be in a zone. I understand the theory behind zonal marking, I just don't like it! And today Liverpool's defending on corners has been laughable because they won't adapt
More thinking 'that's my man, I am going to try to stop him scoring'. A lot of Arsenal's goals from corners earlier in the season were a result of good delivery and opponents zonal marking and not being flexible enough to adapt
Here's my radical way to defend corners... your best header marks their best header, second best header marks second best header, third best header, keep free to attack the ball. Then down on a sliding scale. Obviously wouldn't work every time but at least it gives defenders some responsibility
And there you have the result. Absolute stupidity of zonal marking
