I didn't witness it happen, I was chatting somewhere else and looked over to see the aftermath, but it was witnessed by bystanders and I didn't get a chance to identify exactly who it was.

Yep. But in the context of the events that occurred during the competition, we chose to protest. We almost expected something like this to happen.
I expect to get banned from future events after 9 years with this organization. Small price to pay for using my voice. Most people appreciated it and thanked us (including one of the judges). I will stand with my immigrant neighbors and against horrific intimidation tactics. Love thy neighbor.
I'm a resident of the Twin Cities. A small team and I spent 3 days sculpting this for a competition/festival in extremely cold temperatures. We were disqualified for political messaging and one of the organizers defaced it. I have no regrets and I have never been more proud to be Minnesotan. (cont)
