Well, it took three separate hour long play sessions, and installing a better health mod for hardcore (increases my health from 35 to 70) but #RDR1 finally clicks for me.

The game design decisions in Red Dead are just objectively bad.

I think that #Rockstar doesn't know if they want their games to be an immersive sim or an open world sandbox.

I'll try it, but I don't see it holding my attention like fantasy or sci fi or something. There's just not much to it.

It's like "Cool, I found some little camp!" But I can't talk to NPCs, there aren't merchants or skills or training or loot like weapons or armor. And it's just like damn there really isn't anything much to do in this game is there? Plus I know the only enemies will be people and animals.

I'm playing #RedDeadRedemption 1 and trying to stay interested. It's half and half for me. On the one hand, I enjoy the story, realism, music, and world design. On the other, the controls feel like they were made by an alien who never played a game before and the world feels so uninteractable.

Considering I grew up playing some of the best games of all time ( #FinalFantasyX, #ShadowOfTheColossus, #WorldOfWarcraft, #Skyrim, #DarkSouls, #ResidentEvil4, #DragonAgeOrigins), I cannot fathom why Rockstar games get such high praise. Their games are dreadfully boring.

I'm so relieved that this tax defense lawyer is finally paying off. One tax related mistake can RUIN your life. Being a first gen college student is hard. But I finally got a good job coming up. Things are finally looking up.

The 𝝂 Gundam is pronounced Nu Gundam. It's the RX-93 from a film called Char's Counterattack. It's not to be confused with the show V Gundam which features the Victory Gundam. That in turn, shouldn't be confused with the show CV Gundam which is pronounced Turn A Gundam.
