Hundreds of reports of U.S. troops told Trump was ordained by Jesus to attack Iran and start Armageddon.

Now we're complicit in false flag attacks meant to draw NATO into a war...

This timeline has jumped the shark.

This story from @michaeldgreen.phd is way too common at the Trump/Bhattacharya NIH. Program staff can't give grantees clear answers; they don't have them. That is the MO: provide intentionally ambiguous guidance under threat of retaliation, creating an environment where staff over-comply out of fear

PA-26-002: NIH Collaborative International Research Project (Parent PF5 Clinical Trial Optional)

More changes at #NIH. Any foreign (even a non-HS) component needs a PF5. US-based institutions who gave sub-awards in olden times should now use the PF5. It looks to be structured like a P01.

I’m hearing people say that the DHS budget bill won’t affect ICE because of funding from the summer OBBB package.

But Congress could remove that ICE funding. For example, amend this appropriations bill to zero out the ICE funding from the summer.

This is a starter pack of current & former NIH staff—that I highly recommend

I’d also add that so many of these heroic folks have been a beacon of light, integrity, & moral clarity at a time when the NIH Director, Jay Bhattacharya, along with Trump & Vought, have, sadly, taken steps to weaken NIH

This is stunning. Listen to this in Philadelphia.

Thousands singing “Hey-Oh, we won’t be silent while our friends are gunned down.”

Really listen to it.

Congress Is Reversing Trump’s Steep Budget Cuts to Science

ALERT: Congress may flat-fund science, but Vought, Bhattacharya, Memoli & RFK still have a bag of dirty tricks: impoundment, multi-year funding, termination of programs, appointment of cronies to leadership, changes in scientific review to ratfuck research in America. www.nytimes.com/2026/01/10/s...

NIH is losing so may good people. First they were fired or RIFd or pressured to retire early.

Now they are leaving because “no longer lend our credibility to an organization that has lost its integrity.”

Proud to know these brave scientists!

NIH director says DEI-related grants that were restored under a court order won’t be renewed NIH Director Jay Bhattacharya told a podcaster that DEI-related grants restored under a court order won't be renewed in 2026

On a podcast today, NIH Director Bhattacharya said NIH would not renew grants reinstated under the APHA vs NIH ruling by District Court Judge Young - as reported by @aniloza.bsky.social at @statnews.com.

This means the studies yet again will be cut off midstream.

The U.S. Is Funding Fewer Grants in Every Area of Science and Medicine (Gift Article) A quiet policy change means the government is making fewer bets on long-term science.

@aatishb.bsky.social got me on the record. “My colleagues did an outstanding job to work their butts off to approve things.” I swear it's true. It's still true at #NIH.

While the government was shut down, 379 NIH study section meetings (containing 24,380 grant applications) were postponed. NIH is committed to getting these reviewed, but please be patient and understanding with staff, as this is a complex and heavy lift.
