Great to see McLaren on the podium and Lawson in the top 10
Really enjoying this season!

Pretty difficult to refute a single thing in this perfect assessment of where the f**k we are, from @iandunt.bsky.social:
If you're doomscrolling, guess what? So far there are 51 kākāpō chicks hatched and thriving this season, the same number of birds as we had in TOTAL in the 90s! Only one chick has died and there are still fertile eggs waiting to hatch!
Here's @lucyham.bsky.social with a great piece of research about the local right-wing establishment social engineering operation occurring of late.
"Powerful right-wing regressive weirdos gather to plot at Atlas-linked conference in Australia"
Water will be the future flash point, for certain
Yes, and so does India, and that is a concern
Yes, but while Pakistan is a relatively recent political entity, tribal and ethnic scrapping in the region have a much longer history
They’ve been scrapping for centuries
I know, but my vocabulary is exhausted when it comes to addressing issues concerning trump and his govt and all the govts enabling and supporting him. I no longer have the appropriate words
Just like you replaced the Taliban with the Taliban
Your president and government have shit for brains
If we cannot eat the rich, maybe we just burn down $20M+ homes
Oh sure .... the shortage of $20M+ homes is the problem that we should be worrying about in NZ right now when we're "moving on" record numbers of homeless people.
FUCK THIS PANDERING TO THE RICH! FUCK OFF!

There is not one single, principled person in government
Sounds utterly miserable down there! Keep the fire burning!
We need to redirect that anger
Maybe we need to find a way to redirect people’s anger. It’s clearly the case that Peters’ support for this govt has played a large part in bringing NZ down to the abysmal economic, social and environmental condition we are in
Absolutely no further evidence is necessary to show that this govt places corporate profits way above absolutely everything else, and it is all justified to the public through comprehensively debunked trickle down economic nonsense. We’re mugs to tolerate this bullshit
True to a point, but Peters is becoming increasingly unstable and unpredictable, and I think his age and mental state will count against him. It’s the disengaged that really trouble me, and that is why I like the idea of some sort of external crisis (not Peters generated) to focus peoples’ minds
I’m happy for this govt to end any way it takes. I don’t trust Peters’ judgement, and I am willing to take a chance. But in reality, what % of the vote Peters thinks he might get, and what he actually gets, are 2 different things. I think the public is over both Peters, and Jones
Seymour, Peters, and proctologist searching for Luxon’s brain
Proctologist to Luxon: “Bend over and say Ahhhh!”
An apt description. Maybe also, a pocket full of mumbo jumbo
I would rather like to see a government crisis of some description that would bring about an early election, but I’m not sure how that could be engineered. Ideas, anyone?
He is the most shallow, vacuous, urban hayseed of an individual. In a different era he would have achieved peak career development selling vacuum cleaners door to door
Luxon OK with the nuclear option
Except for the hair, these inflatable adverts seem the perfect metaphor for Luxon;
Full of air
Inarticulate
Flailing
Always looking for attention
hey @merriam-webster.com, what's "corruption"?
Funny how nobody is advocating that AI replace tech CEO jobs, given how adept AI bots seem to be at making shit up and sprouting rubbish
Is it just me that thinks if the cars were going through store fronts instead of children there'd be something from this govt about it?
But since it's people's lives and not businesses livelihood they're quiet.
Since their policies create the situation, they're quiet.
Deafeningly quiet.

This is unacceptable and is reinforced in part by the likes of Simeon Brown, Ryan Bridge, and others with their "war on cars" fuelling the attitude of car supreme
Time to revert back to the Labour Speed Management Policy and also get a lot more raised crossings installed. A LOT MORE.
I would like to send David Seymour’s DNA and any other biometric data to the US, intact, in a box ⚰️
