For years, the zoning department of HoCo has refused to enforce existing laws regarding abusive land use, non farm buildings constructed on Agricultural preservation land (ALPP provides a tax break to those who preserve land for agriculture), illegal alcohol sales and events, and then, even once certain violations were imposed, they refused to enforce them. Now a friend of a violator is working on a bill to remove established laws to the benefit of this one business (other citizens and businesses still have to follow the law, obviously).
