you earn submission. you teach the other person through consistency that you’re trustworthy, without any doubt. You do that- you keep your word, walk the walk after the talk- that’s when the magic happens. Abuse that trust- you loose out.

It is encouraging to see federal workers on Reddit committing to their oath to uphold the constitution. It would be nice to see the much safer members of Congress to show such commitment.
