A pixelart image of the pokémon Persian, with a conductor's hat pulled down over its normal eyes. A locomotive headlight rests on the bill of its cap, functioning as a giant cyclopean eye for the cat. It also has a brass whistle on its back.

Got talked into trying out RPGMaker XP and building off a wacky idea about Pokemon in the Old West and so far I've managed to make a Meowth that becomes part-locomotive when it evolves.

Gotham is an interesting one, because it's as much about layout as it is about architecture- the claustrophobic feeling doesn't work if you try to make a Gotham with standard grid roads. It works much better if you give it a more medieval, wibbly set of roads, and slam US buildings onto that.

Absolutely, and thank you! It's fun working with your models and seeing what fun bashes can be made.

A six-person squad at 28mm scale, led by Harriet Tubman, wielding a sword and a boltgun. Mary Fields stands alongside her, the shotgun she was holding modified so it more closely resembles a sniper rifle.

Took Harriet Tubman and Mary Fields from @badsquiddogames.bsky.social and turned them into two parts of a counts-as Gaunt's Ghosts squad! Harriet Tubman should be given a boltgun more often, imo.

A counts-as Cadian squad, made from a mix of American Civil War, WWI French, and WWI German models. Plus some futuristic weaponry, of course.

I should actually try to post, huh? Might as well start by showing off some faux-American Astra Militarum kitbashes for Warhammer! #Warhammer40k #Warhammer #kitbash

There's one more big way that historicals can be used in GW games — practically any aesthetic can be plugged into the Guard, as long as you give them the right weapons!
