Good lord you fucking clowns...
My joke about a marathon running robot should not be taken as a statement of opinion on the entire automation industry.
Funnily enough, I've actually worked at Fukushima, so yeah...
Self driving cars on a closed track have existed for decades.
The joke is that legs aren't a particularly great way to quickly get around when you can use wheels.
My shitty old Mitsubishi mirage would kick that thing's ass in a race. Colour me mmeeeehhhhh
Well, that and a means to prevent you from clicking through any link and keeping that sweet sweet ad revenue for themselves.
A deal's a deal. I don't even care if they call it the "popmaxxing chicken mog bundle". Have at it!
I can see why Bo signed with the Metts because it seems like they are exactly the same team as the Jays, last year's lucky run not withstanding.
Yay baseball!
Gotcha. Rational in that it is responding as one would expect to the inputs given. Just that the inputs are maximizing instant profits based on social/media factors instead of an assessment of a business's overall quality.
Was the market always this irrational? I feel like I was taught (likely naively) that market dips would signal issues and spur responses. But that's definitely not happening now and hasn't with climate change either.

I got the right country for all of them at least!
I'm sure it's step 1B of "Before I answer your question about the best breed of dog to babysit your kid, how about a refreshing iced latte from Starbucks (c)?"
So sorry Katelyn. What a special little guy.
Lol, almost got it.
Imagine being able to score runs. What a world that would be.
Man stuff today sure does suck. They don't make things like they used to. Remember when the economy was good???
Sometimes I wake up in the middle of the night thinking about the food in China... Probably 4 of my top ten lifetime meals were in Haiyan while I worked there.
A green stegosaurus stuffed animal that was sold at Ikea.
We're a stegosaurus household. My kid has a kickass stuffy I found at Ikea of one.
Never been more right about hating and absolutely loathing a sports franchise
Watching the US's most slimy fascists complain about the pope like "oh, now that we are the authoritarians you don't like us either?" Is going to break my brain.
When I was a kid half of what I heard about John Paul was his anti-communism! All he did was intervene in politics!!!
Ahhhhhhhh!
I'm losing my mind at all of this "Jesus likes some wars actually" and the "well, since when has the pope opined about world events?" stuff.
Feels like I'm having a stroke...
It's super funny for sports though. Like the entire value of the company is in its future expectations and Fan loyalty. You can't extract all of the capital from a sports team and sell off its real estate holdings like it's the desicated corpse of toys r us.
Just wild...
But on a universal "leafy" meter, losing to Ottawa in a meaningful game and then having Seattle win the lottery is way funnier.
I didn't have reinventing "sketchy 1-900 numbers you see advertised on tv if you fell asleep on the couch" in my 2026 predictions.
Me: The Jays are unfairly cursed this year no other team has had this kind of injury luck.
Other teams:
I prefer stable minorities for sure, but all this underscores for me how badly we need proportional representation... Gahhh.
Wait, is it just regular phosphorescence? Wild and neat.
I respect a watch that is stuffed so full of tritium I can't wear it to work.
In Parable of the Talents, the authoritarian president runs on a promise of "making America great again".
The series sure is a trip in 2026....
Sigh....
