Cutting it a bit close today! Didn't have much time. Kinda just a quick sketch more than a finished render.

A digital painting styled render of a pale woman in a revealing red and yellow dress with golden hip epilates stands tall over you. She reflects upon her hands, which glint as skeletal bones in the hazy pale blue lit pillars blazing with a ghostly pale fire. Her eyes radiate a smokey pale gas as her red hair splits and spreads out in a shaggy bob cut. A pale lightly illuminating horned halo appears above her head. She stands inside a black stone wall enclosure, and the black soon looms high overhead.

Something a little different today. Sorta just finished an old drawing instead of rendering something new from scratch. Tell me what you think!

"“What brings you to the Devil’s Throat?”
“Looking for you, to be precise.” Replied Jarlbaith.
The Ranger snorted, “I suppose there’s no such thing as coincidences.”"

A black and white render in a digital charcoal-style of a man in wrapped clothes and shiny pants with a cloak in the bright sunlight. He's standing on a cobbled street in a back ally, holding a stolen coinpurse and twirling a blade between his other hand's figures. His face is covered by a wrapping or scarf.

It's a depiction of the following scene from the Trials of Jarlbaith:
""Jarlbaith reached to catch the falling coinpurse in its arc, but it did not fall into his hand.
“It’s dangerous to flaunt your coin, Jarbie.” A crass voice whispered into the air like trails of smoke behind him..
“Ah. Viltier. I was considering seeking you out. Seems I don’t have to anymore.”""

A digital painting of a couple of nude men cuddling in bed under soft light. The character on the right is muscular and has canine ears and a fluffy dog tail. His "face claim" is Manato Komano from the game Zenless Zone Zero. The character on the left is leaner and is wearing a leather collar implied to belong to the other character. A painting of two people, one male and one female.

The man is in the foreground, wrists bound to his neck in a yoke. He is wearing a military-esq uniform with a badge that says "Border Patrol"

He is also wearing a face mask and a ballgag over the mask.

The lady behind the man has curly pink hair, the sides of her face framed with two straight locks of blue hair: one on either side. Her fringe is shorter and pink, with a shock of white in the middle.

The woman is holding up a pineapple.

Above the two are the words:

Roses are red, violets are cute.
This is going up your poop chute

This was intended to go up on Valentine's Day but a mix of work stress and depression meant I was working on it inconsistently.

Obviously I missed that deadline by a country mile but whatever.

A black-and-white digital illustration of a scene from the book "The Trials of Jarlbaith" in a Charcoal style.

The scene depicts the opening of the book where Jarlbaith Thorne is kneeling in a throne room before his king. Jarlbaith is wearing an ornate suite of armor that gleams brightly with metal inlays and filigree.

An excerpt from the book of this scene:
"The Champion Jarlbaith knelt lowly with a hand over his chest and the other a fist to the floor. He was dressed in a decorated black and silver suit of armor before an ancient man slouching back in a glittering golden throne perched upon a dais. The old man’s face was ancient with craterous wrinkles that gouged every corner of his face, highlighted by pure-white eyebrows as bushy as an unwelcoming forest, and long strands of wispy hair pressed into parting under a hefty jewel-bespoke golden crown. He was covered in a cloak that appeared to be a portal to the stars, only to shimmer and shift in unexpected ways as his expanding chest shifted the creases in the silky soft fabric. The ancient man was positioned as the focus point of a grand chamber, upon a dais, flanked by smaller and less decorated chairs, but they were presently empty.
This crowned man was Jarlbaith’s King."

A beautiful woman in a revealing dress stands in front of a mirror with a glazed look in her eyes. Her dress is bright white and hair done up neatly into a thick braid in the back. Jewels and metal finery hangs from her ears and is draped around her neck and wrists. The dress comes to a point at mid thigh, crawling up the sides and with a window over the stomach. She's wearing glass heels and has a sprawled/uncomfortable stance. Behind her a woman in a casual maid dress is holding her steady and looking at her through the mirror (not in view, towards your perspective) They're standing in a tiled room with brick walls, with floating magical orbs in the air and a bureau peeking in from the side.

Rendered in black and white in a digital medium to look like a charcoal style.

A black and white digital illustration in a charcoal-style. The image depicts a harrowed-looking soldier in padded leather armors rushing towards the viewer. He wields a pockmarked black sword and his eyes are gleaming bright with trails of smoke escaping them. He is overwhelmed with the fervor of violence with a pained scowl.. Around the figure is a hazy snowstorm in a leafless forest. Faint outlines of other soldiers in the same armor can be seen in the background wearing similar scowls.

A black and white digital illustration in a charcoal-style finish of a beautifully elegant dark-haired woman dressed regally. It depicts this passage from the book The Trials of Jarlbaith.

"Her body was encased in a gleaming black sleeveless leather bodice with red lace trim that framed the start of a long black silken dress. The dress was split mid-thigh, and it revealed the gleaming whiteness of her upper. Long black felt gloves and heeled boots went up past her limb's joints, and were covered in matching red sewn embroidery and lacing. From each of their throats around her biceps and lower thigh erupted a plume of black feathers. On her shoulders sat ornate gleaming pauldrons of silver that a perverted man might pretend to be protective armor. The piece was laden with the same sort of swirling patterns as the banners, and studded with gems of purple and red. Bangles and other jewels hung from her body, unclear if they were draped or attached to her clothing. Covered head–to-toe in expensive finery, she was dressed as royalty- and she was a beautiful woman."

I'm just now realizing the revisions I thought were minor to ch7 my book, The Trials of Jarlbaith, are actually kind of major, and now I need to rewrite like, half of chapter 8, and probably most of chapter 9.

Just author things, I guess.
