This is fantastic. Like, really excellent. Nice job. As for who it reminds me of, I can't say for sure but it definitely does bring to mind some of those excellent US bands from 10-15 years back - Cayucas, Throw me the Statue, etc. I convinced myself that I even hear a bit of Sparhawk in your vocal!

My new tune comes out this Friday.

It's called "Every Time I..." and was written in the immediate aftermath of Mimi Parker's after reading some @lowtheband.bsky.social Alan Sparhawk tributes which got me in the gut. I brought that idea to my band and we sprinkled it with 60s magic.

If I work the 6am to 2pm shift on a Mon/Tues/Wed I get the most guilt free 3 hours to myself in the afternoon where Val is in nursery and Gill is in work. I love not knowing what to do with myself because doing nothing when you have a one year old is fucking epic.
