However its a pity that they game is not particularly compelling. New car unlocks being the only motivation to finish the repetitive tracks and career mode is just effectively just a series of time trials.

Platinum Trophy #197 Art Of Rally
A rally car game that has a lovely colour palette and top down views that are reminiscent of Micro Machines.
Despite the less realistic visuals, the car handling is top notch.

This was a bit of an odd anthology. The stories told didn't really have a strong theme tying them together, and the last one got weird and had some ridiculous violence making it feel like it came from a different film.

Now watching Freaky Tales

This was such a disappointment. It started of creepy, but failed to keep any suspense going until an end chase sequence. Even the jump scares were poorly executed. The worst part was the end choice the mother makes, but being a Korean film I didn't expect it to have a happy ending

Now watching The Mimic, a Korean horror that's been on my watch list for a while

I've been playing Pokemon Leaf Green and I forgot how much of a pain it was to catch the legendary birds. Took two hours to get Articuno!

My younger self had so much more patience (and spare time) for this.

Now listening to Hellripper's new album Coronach in anticipation of their launch show in Glasgow tonight 🐐

Looking forward to seeing Joe Kent-Walters' alter ego Frankie Monroe after missing out on his Edinburgh Fringe run

Went to see Project Hail Mary tonight. Its an enjoyable Sci-fi yarn, makes me want to read the novel as I feel like the jeopardy in it would be more fraught

Hmm this was a bit disappointing.Tonally, it never really excelled in either being a rom or com. The dark ending felt unearned too

Platinum Trophy #195: Plague Inc Evolved

An interesting virus simulator were the goal is to infected the world. Visually it grew stale very quickly but that would be down to it being a mobile port

I know thisnt a hot take, but the music score was maddening. Felt like they were torn between being a serious period drama or aping the modern styling of A Knights Tale

Set during one of histories most revolutionary times and yet we swap character exploration for flat line deliveries & anemic plotting.

Watched the 2006 film Marie Antoinette starring Kirsten Dunst tonight. This was a blind watch but I was aware of it not reviewing well on release. It was certainly pretty, but I was taken back by how dull the film was.

Really looking forward to the metal gigs coming my way this spring & summer...

This was a pleasant surprise. Despite a budget its very well shot: lots of long tracking shots and slow pans during monologues. Plus the cinematography was great. Plot wise, it reminded me a little of Pontypool since a lot of the dialogue infers to things offscreen

I came across this under rated Sci-fi list on facebook so.have decided to watch The Vast Of Night
This and Sttawberry Mansion were the only two i hadn't heard of so I might watch that next
