Stylized illustration of a jar of mayonnaise, plainly labeled "MAYO" in all caps. As seen in the "Wacky Delly" episode of Rocko's Modern Life
Or 25 minutes of this image accompanied by a constant sine wave tone

Trying to decide if this means Kinger - who I guess is the token autistic grungler if Jax is a rotten egg - can't see this in theaters, or if this means Queenie pegged him
The studio is serving up multiple gourmet entrees from excellent indie animators and you want the equivalent of a Big Mac from Luke and Kevin, who are demonstrably more successful as producers than as showrunners (see: burning bridges with Tari's VA for seemingly no good reason)
Sunset Paradise was their weakest show, framed in-universe as an SMG4 side story (an unforced blunder they'd previously avoided in Meta Runner) and its main plot was already neatly resolved.
Also not helping your case that you cannot even remember the cat girl's name
Gaslight District being the second such production is implied but spelling it out here for clarity
It's only the second not to feature either simulated worlds or artificial intelligence as primary themes
Use of the reclaimed T-slur most likely
MLK's Letter from Birmingham Jail was in my high school US history curriculum and I'm very glad it was
You cannot seriously tell me high schoolers don't at least know about the sanitized version of MLK
I'm unsure how seriously to take this bill beyond it being red meat for the GOP's petty bourgie/gusano base but either way it reeks of desperation. They'll try their damnedest to put this genie back in the bottle after it broke out again circa 2011 but it won't work and we can take solace from that
They could deport every remotely left-sympathizing person and fully bury the US's own history of class struggle but still be haunted by the specter of socalism + communism.
B/c Marxism is a science it will independently reemerge if conditions are similar enough to the Victorian ones Marx lived in
Related anecdote, I once had the privilege of trying out a more barebones execution of this concept at a (likely Latine-owned) pizza place where it was marinara and melted mozzarella on top of pita chips
They came so close to greatness and they ruined it with goddamn Alfredo sauce
I think once chapter 7 drops and Deltarune is a Finished Project this will be much less of a problem because the intent will be clearer
There is so much foreshadowing entangled with puns/wordplay (e.g. "flower man trapped in asylum") that Deltarune's English-speaking audience have dissected to death twice over, I don't blame him for not trusting localizers who might approach the task with a "it just needs to be good enough" mindset
Honestly "almost universal" may not even be true anymore given how gutted the Voting Rights Act is now
The US has elections and almost universal suffrage but it is absolutely not a democracy
I always understood Me Too as being not just a matter of women's oppression (and it is) but also a case of shitty bosses abusing their positions of power to humiliate workers. No surprise the bourgeois feminist Democrats axed it once, to paraphrase Pelosi's daughter, their "faves" were implicated

This is diabolical
and it's entirely because of capitalism
I know I keep beating this drum, but 80% of this country's government based problems revolve around the fact we have infinite friction to create literally any social, transportation, or educational programs, and absolutely zero friction to just kill people.
Not to mention Trump helped to accelerate the spread of a literal fucking plague a few months prior. I know Dems are quite capable of snatching defeat from the jaws of victory but 2020 was an almost unavoidable layup for them.
I can't help but wonder if this guy was in a coma that entire year
You mean the federal minimum wage? The one that's been stuck at $7.25/hour since 2010?
$21.75/hour isn't even a living wage anymore in vast swathes of the US. Inflation has corroded workers' purchasing power over that same period, especially since covid and even more so since the Hormuz blockade
I would agree with you except Amazon Web Services has wormed its way into something like a third of the Internet. Everything else is easy enough to avoid though
Not coincidentally the socialist org I'm a member of - Independent Socialist Group - is planning to endorse the Andrea James campaign, which is running from Healey's left

I think it's easier to make the case for left independents and for the formation of a workers' party to electorally challenge Dems from the left, esp. in deep-blue states like Mass. and Cali, than it's been in decades
Always has been
