yeah agree!!! Just thinking about Mother 1 and 3, one gets a late translation at least but like... its a game people would love to play but just dont know the language for, and then its on fan translations when it could have been made SO much easier to get access to these games...

Good localization and translation create good games that are accessible to more people. The whole point is to get a game in different languages you don't speak. Why would you rather have no localization at all for languages you don't speak??? idk just a bit silly isnt it...

Coincidentally, with the Silent Hill f costume DLC coming out, it was kinda how we felt about that game too, but to a lesser extent then FF2!!! Maybe we'll go for 1 more playthrough but we'll see!!!

Finished Fatal Frame 2 with @obelgray.bsky.social yesterday!!! Such an interesting game!!! The atmosphere, camera mechanics, and sound design are so good!!! Towards the end, it does get a bit "this ghost again...", "this area again...", which does make the idea of multiple playthroughs a bit......
