Apparently the M113 actually has aluminum armor, with steel in some places and extra armor possible. It also seems to be not terribly strong, only rated for 7.62 mm protection without add-ons.

It says 60% of the components are imported. Does anyone know if they are reusing any parts of the donated M113s? I believe they got a lot.
