Time for every state to follow suit.

Feels hopeless this time with no “resistance” vibe. Personally, I’m focusing on family, hobbies, and work that I enjoy. I don’t have a sense of “one day this will pass”. Hope is a beautiful thing. I’m not sure I have any left.

In the first term, I found solace, for lack of a better word, in laughing at the state of this country. This time, I don’t see the humor.

Closing the Department of Education would send power back to the states, but not in the way they want you to think.

States have always set their own curriculum.

The power they want is the power to discriminate based on special needs, income level, and LGBTQ status with no government oversight.

Listen friends - gather your hope where you can. People showed up in all 50 states on a moments notice. Voicemail boxes of senators are filling up. Lawsuits are being filed.

Look at all the good people.

And do not forget to take care of yourselves. Seriously. This is a long haul.

Eliminating the Department of Education will hurt public schools and the kids who need help the most, AND THAT IS THE POINT.

Normalize being nice.

Jessica: He had a campaign rally in the middle of what should have been a somber occasion. And these DEI policies were put in place in 2013. He had every opportunity through his first administration to revoke them if he thought they were terrible, but he didn't.

I don’t think he could stay focused long enough to hear the question, much less verbalize a response that would have any meaning.
