Got back home and sat on my couch for 10 minutes and suddenly I felt all the walking I did in my legs and all the sazeracs still swirling in my veins.

There's nowhere in the world I love to walk around more than The French Quarter in New Orleans. Charming, beautiful and dirty. Full of music, hustlers, strange history, booze and art. I've never felt more at home.

Took my kids to New Orleans, one of the best food cities in the world. They ate nothing but chicken tenders. But they did love the beignets!

Not a bad #Oscar night. On a happy personal note, this was the first time my oldest kid stayed up through the whole show. I was about his age the first time I stayed up for Best Picture and I haven't missed it since.
