Hope we get to properly meet at another conference actually! I was at the CommunityKit but impostor syndrome is a battle I’m trying to overcome 😅

Any press people here that want to try out @fsolleveld.bsky.social and my new app, PocketShelf, before its release on the 15th of September?

It's designed for Liquid Glass & has a nice feature with Apples new local AI Models!

Dear Klemens Strasser,

Good news! Your app is being considered for featuring on the App Store, where we regularly showcase amazing apps and the developers who create them.

Posted less about PocketShelf than I wanted to - Mainly because we were busy finishing a first demo version for Apple. 👀

And our hard work paid off - We just received our first feature request! 😱

We will show you more from the demo in the next days!

We are incredibly excited to announce our new app, PocketShelf!

It’s a reading tracker built for iOS 26, featuring a Liquid Glass design and an integration with Apple’s Foundation Models framework for some fun AI features.

We = @fsolleveld.bsky.social and I!

This wasn't as easy as we hoped for - BUT we have a name now. 🥳

And we have a domain now. 🌐

@fsolleveld.bsky.social and I are going to announce it later this week!

My first coding task for #ProjectUnshelved is completed ✅

A Thread!

After @fsolleveld.bsky.social built a working prototype, I brought over the font system from The Art of Fauna to help us move toward a shippable version of the app.

Oh, and one more thing, @strasser.bsky.social and I will publicly announce more about our project once we have a domain landing page set up. Happy building!

I let ideas come to me naturally, either whilst I was playing a video game, reading a book or just disassociating into the void. You’re gonna build better software that way. (3/3)

I was on my commute to the office today and testing our first prototype and realized some stuff that already works, and some features that we should definitely add. If you’re considering shipping something too, think about what you’d really like to use. Don’t try to force it. (2/3)

You already heard this before, I'm sure, but I wanted to emphasize it again: actually wanting to use the product you’re building yourself is so important. (1/3)

imagine going in for a quick sync for an hour and you release it actually was three hours. Anyway, looking forward to sharing more with you soon!

Why is it even in there in the first place? What is the use of those coins. Feels quite off in a social media network. (Not trying to be negative here, I am happy with my username on there lmao)

Whilst the launch iOS 17 is nearing, I'm resuming work on my app. That means: Updating to the latest Beta and finally fixing the compiler issues that I was hoping would have been Beta problems and not something on my end 😅
