I normally do fine with needles, and pain is pretty easy for me to ignore. I can’t really handle the sight of other people’s blood though, it tends to make me almost-faint, but normally I can handle my own blood just fine, so last week’s shot was the first time I reacted squeamish to my own.

I welded a small bending jig, and then bent two chunks of metal and welded them together to make a heart. The kiddo claimed the heart before it was even cool, I literally had to toss it in a mud puddle to cool it off faster for her.
