1) Untrue, llms don't have to be unethically trained with data stolen from people without their consent, they don't necessarily consume as much energy and can give way better results than genAI

2) Untrue, it can just give commands to the actual program about what font to use and where to place text

This isn't about translating though, it's just about setting the texts in the original manga

Y'all ffs, this isn't generative AI, it just uses the text and fonts you give it, what the tool does is it figures out where the speech bubbles are and puts the text there, adjusting the size so they fit, and using different fonts if it's a shout bubble or a thought bubble.

This AI pretty much just checks where are the speech bubbles, and it writes the texts you gave it in those bubbles fitting the text to its size and choosing different fonts depending on wether that's a thought bubble, a shout bubble etc.

Important point: from what I'm reading this isn't generative AI, it's not the kind of AI that consumes an absurd ammount of resources to give dubious results after being trained unethically. It's just an inocuous tool like the hundreds of types of AI we already had before GenAI
