Digital Drawing. The bright, ghost-like figure of a giant moa walks through the dim forest interior, framed by trees to the left and right. The ground is covered in ferns, and a layer of moss has grown on the trees. A few branches hang at the top of the frame.

And now I've got a cool real life mossy rock that I can just plop into any game :D

I'll do some other cool stuff with it too, and maybe more photogrammetry scanning experiments, this was fun!

The same photogrammtery mossry rock scan but cleaned up at different levels, from 1 million tris to 92 thousand tris and 2 thousand tris

The 2thousand tris model of the cool mossry rock next to the color map texture that was baked from the 1 million tri scan.

Did some clean up of the scan and baked some new color and normal maps to make it more game-ready, but even at 2K tris it still looks great!

And I could probably clean it up some more.

There's this really cool mossy rock that I pass by on my walks in the forest, and I've been wanting to takes photos of it and recreate it in 3D.

But instead, @starbi.dev helped me get a really good photogrammtery scan of it using RealityScan! ✨

Cool setup!
How do you quickly blend between different poses like this?
Are you using the NLA editor?

use an AI we sell you to concept the game and generate 3d models and to write it and to create the levels and to code it and to QA test the game and then DLSS 5 AI will make the game look good and players can ask AI how to play the game instead of playing it themselves - this is better, somehow

Very cool design!

I do not, but I imagine a script to generate new individual scenes per imported object within the file wouldn't be too hard to write.
Might look into that, would be handy.

I'd recommend checking out the Blender To Godot 4 Pipeline Addon, it's super handy for exporting from Blender to Godot.

I like the line-up approach too, with the addition of stacking variants of the same prop behind each other and keeping them all within a collection.

Is the game actually good or is it just constantly giving you little tasks and patting you on the head when you complete them, temporarily slaking your perpetual longing for recognition?

It requires a bit of setup, but once it is you can export straight to godot by pressing 1 button in Blender, you might also be able to do it by saving the .blend but I haven't tried that.

Have you looked into using the "Blender To Godot 4 Pipeline Addon" it's fairly cheap and should work for your use case.

Are they not contracted to work a specific number of hours per day? How is it possible for an employer to enforce more work hours without additional pay? That's crazy.

But for more general blender use I would recommend:
- Right Mouse Navigatoin
- Synchronize Workspaces
- Ucupaint

When I was making a lot of lowpoly models I used some UV tools like Mio3 UV, helped a lot with the texturing process.
