Tower Bridge and the Thames, early morning

Palace just managed the game way better than us. We simply couldn’t find a way through a very low block and couldn’t switch into our usual attacks as they pressed only if the ball went to Greaves or Clark, stopping the outlet. An education in Premier League-ism by an average premier league team

Have to say, it’s great seeing the news you post as ever but it’s especially nice to see it genuinely liked rather than deluged by a bunch of bile, as it is in The Other Place. Onwards!

It looks amazing - as always. Sadly it’s designated as a Christmas present for me so I’ll have to wait to read it but it will be all the more enjoyable for the wait.

This is such rubbish news. British racing is in a terrible state and I’m struggling to see any bright lights on the horizon. Nuts really when you think how successful British riders are at the moment.

This is so insane. A similar thing happened with the 340 year-old Plume of Feathers in Greenwich back in the early noughties. Someone bought a flat a few doors down and then put in complaints about the noise - it turned out ok for the pub but it caused them no end of distress.

The Politics of Farage and Reform is No Joke of a Matter – The Established Media Must Learn Its Lessons and Start Holding Them to Account The normalisation of racism and dog-whistles will only get worse if the press continues to treat Farage as an entertaining figure representing the ‘real views’ of the British people – it must stop, wr...

It’s the classic’s classic. Your social media presence is incomplete without it - like a missing unrecorded period of history.

More and more it seems like a $50bln deal to help Trump win an election to enable Musk to get even richer off the back of it. He’ll make multiples of what he paid for Twitter
