The things that’s funny about this other than total ignorance on display, is the element of some sort of gotcha. Like take that NASA, explain this one hey! 😂

Nothing shorted. I really don’t understand how that wasn’t disastrous 😂

OMG I don’t know how my dog is still alive. She just trotted into the living room, squatted over a plugged in power board, looked at us, and started peeing on it.

Currently glued to the NASA live feed for Artemis. I can’t wait for the National Geographic doc. Please let it be 9 hours for each day they’re out there 🙏🏻

I’ve been looking for a good dough recipe. Do you have any pointers?

That’s so odd. Glad it’s corrected now. Have you ever thought of doing a digital zine PDF type thing?

Did they give a reason why it was suspended?

Watched my first Friday night Baseball session for the year (Atlanta Braves at Arizona Diamondbacks) last week. Made me want to know how I can subscribe to the Women’s Pro Baseball League.

A single comic art panel drawn in a black white lineart style with shades of blue. Also with caption boxes above and below the main drawing. The drawing show me walking down a snowy street with a beanie and scarf. The text reads.

THE YEAR STARTED OFF STRONG. I CUT OUT ALCOHOL AND GOT THROUGH A BAD BOUGHT OF DEPRESSION. DESPITE MY NEW OUTLOOK, MY WORK LIFE TOOK A NOSE DIVE AFTER GETTING THE WORST MANGER OF MY WORKING LIFE...

“I DID IT”
I MADE IT
THROUGH.”

THIS MADE ME UNDERTAKE SOME DEEP SOUL SEARCHING, DISCOVERING NEW AND PREVIOUSLY UNKNOWN LAYERS... PROVING THAT THIS OLD DOG CAN STILL LEARN NEW TRICKS!

It’s weird to look back and see the similarities and differences in my art in 20 years time, like this recent panel below.

A 20 panel comic that explores why I lived in Ballarat. It has personal detail about my history and life, different job so had and deciding to go to art school. The comic was made probably about 20 years ago. There are too many panels to transcribe the entire comic.

Someone sent me this ancient comic which didn’t really get seen anywhere outside of the magazine it was published in circa 2005-2006.

Same I still really like Bluesky but I do feel like it’s a little less chaotic and diverse than before. Posts have less chance of getting random extra likes etc.

I keep fantasising about making a national magazine. Not even sure if I care what it’s about. I just love print media and getting something in the mail. I think I was born in the wrong era.

Super Mario Galaxy review: A fun kids movie that is constant eye candy with more Nintendo characters than you can name.

I need a simpler Artemis tracker. Where is spaceship now? Is spaceship on way to Moon yet?

Has anyone ever considered bringing their own personal computer to work, because the one their work supplied is too slow?

I also loved how they looked cool and had some new nifty delivery system, like a neon pill or some cool little cartridge thing.

For real! The same people who use cuck as an insult sure do love watching someone else do it for them.

Comics are so weird. I love making them even though I know they're perhaps not the best medium for my ideas. For example I could get a lot more nuance across in prose or even poetry, and I could get a lot more enjoyment from throwing paint around a canvas. But I keep coming back to comics.

I enjoyed the audiobook except for the main character too. You’re right the film fixed that issue.

100% there are so many aspects of it that would make for great learning. Teachers in my area already love talking about Onomatopoeia 😂

a 2 panel comic titled "doing things in moderation"

panel 1: a grumpy pigeon, eyes cast downward
panel 2: the same grumpy pigeon now looking up slightly, brow furrowed and saying to nobody in particular, "I am distressed."
