A black and white cat with a fierce expression reaches a paw toward the camera, looking like the strongest fighter.

The 25-key version (which I have) has a joystick that controls mod and pitch. Not my favorite part of the controller, but the 37-keys and up versions have the wheels. It also has built in sustain and arpeggiator buttons (the latter acts more like a note repeater).
I’ve had great experiences from both the Korg nanoKEY and Korg microKEY controller families, and they are both portable.
'Tis the season for calls for scores, so 'tis the season for some #RealTalk about the impact your well-intended call is having on composers.
Ensembles: thank you for being interested in new music, and in discovering composers you aren't familiar with yet.
I love listening to Ben Folds’ 𝑆𝑜 𝑇ℎ𝑒𝑟𝑒. That man knows the power of the bass clarinet!
The "bluesky is an echo chamber" think pieces that keep popping up really tickle me because they show how certain people genuinely believe social media should be for debating and arguing and not talking about the things that make you happy and sharing art with the world.
Thank you Eowyn!
Tomorrow is going to be a tough but important step for me in my life’s journey. I’m a little nervous, but I know I can do it.
Please reply with your best pet pics or memes. It would be much appreciated.

Welcome! We’re glad you’re here 😃
This is a "Stravigor", a device Igor Stravinsky invented ca. 1911 for drawing music staffs on blank pages. He tried to patent it, but WW1 intervened and he never followed up. An obsessive about notating his music exactly as he wished, Stravinsky used them throughout his life.
I hope everyone else’s holidays are joyful and relaxing! It feels like many of us needed some rest this year. Be sure to take time for yourself!
It’s a bass fish holding a clarinet. I’m a dad, I’m going to make dad jokes in multiple media.
“Bass Clarinet” (pen on paper)
So happy to finally be joining @bsky.app!
