Made a quick utility to auto-generate a rope tightly wrapped around arbitrary geometry. Supports odd shapes and multiple objects. Had the idea for this simple algorithm while taking a walk, and it worked a lot better than expected.🪢

Ja w tym roku odkopałem 3DSa, żeby przejść Metroid Prime: Federation Force. Nie jest to dobry Metroid, ale całkiem spoko gra. No i każdy pretekst, żeby wrócić do tej konsoli, jest dobry. :3

I understand projects need to fit in a budget, but what's the point of remaking something if it's worse than the original (FM2 animations may be too long, but Remake removed them completely). As a fan I feel discouraged by it all. At least they seem to patch these games even months later.
I was sceptical after FM1R. You can tell the budget wasn't too big. Art direction was a mess, etc. Then I stopped playing FM2R after discovering they took original "English" network texts without fixing them and translated that mess into other languages. And now this AI fiasco...
In 2018, 7 years ago, I recreated tutorial level from #FrontMission3 in #UnrealEngine 4, with original textures and new lighting. It was fun to make and made me appreciate even more the work original creators put into the game.

Captain Goto is one of the great underrated characters. He's similar to Columbo in how he gives the impression of being an idiot but in fact is completely in control of the situation... except sometimes he really is an idiot. But always a magnificent bastard. #Patlabor
Haha, he's pure gold. :) I remember watching the show with my friends, it was their first time seeing it, and one of them said very early that "I have a feeling this guy is much sharper than he wants people to believe". One of my favourite characters in anime in general. :) Cheers!
