But why can't I party with turkey and pheasant?

An atheist Christmas is steeped in tradition,
Of showing your love without the addition,
Of mystical beings and trite superstitions
Or nonsense beliefs in bearded magicians.

As I watch as France plunges into political chaos, I can't help but feel reminiscent of the halcyon days.

Days when I didn't want to punch myself repeatedly in the gonads & scream hysterically at passers by about the fuckedupness of the populist power of right-wing idiocracy.
