What I Learned About Billionaires at Jeff Bezos’s Private Retreat For the richest men on Earth, everything is free and nothing matters.

Insightful article today from filmmaker Noah Hawley for @theatlantic.com. How after a certain point of wealth, rich men don't see people anymore, they see cardboard pieces to be moved around, or ignored.

I got a two year-old Nissan Ariya for 26K. It drives like a dream. Highly recommend.

Bosses say AI boosts productivity – workers say they’re drowning in ‘workslop’ Workslop refers to AI-generated work that seems polished but is flawed and in need of heavy corrections

Interesting article. Turns out working with AI can drastically decrease productivity. "40% of workers had encountered workslop within a month, and then spent an average of 3.4 hours a month dealing with it, which adds up to $8.1m in lost productivity..."

Exactly. I think there’s some sort of lawsuit or something else coming early next week.

An Incredibly Weird Time to Be Alive The world witnessed the best and worst of humanity in a single week.

Beautiful article by Charlie Warzel in @theatlantic.com. I've always thought we're so darn lucky this gorgeous Earth keeps steady and turning for us everyday despite our tiny, arrogant minds.

Sometimes I wonder why we're not fighting harder for Stephen Colbert to stay on the air. Where is the movement/outcry like for Jimmy Kimmel? We need both of them more than ever. @allinwithchris.bsky.social

Less stuff, more joy: seven lessons from ‘enoughfluencers’ on how to live a happier, simpler life Meet the influencers encouraging us to stop buying new

When I think of how much power retail CEOs think they have, I remember how much power consumers have to buy, or not buy. These people seem perfectly happy not buying.

Six friends started an annual trip. They didn’t realize it would become a lifeline. In 1994, six men started the A to Z Club, meeting annually in alphabetical cities. The tradition has evolved from bachelor party antics to deep conversations about life.

Here's the most heartwarming story you'll read all weekend. Human beings at their best, in friendship. Gifted link: wapo.st/4lwq9oy

I bought a used Nissan Ariya EV a few months ago and can't believe what a great experience it's been. It drives so smoothly, is much cheaper than gas, no stinky emissions, and the heat turns on immediately! Love that part. And a two-year-old model didn't even cost 30K. I'm such a convert now!

This is pretty, and most importantly, another reason NOT to top your trees.

Happy hump day, everyone!

@minakimes.bsky.social I just heard Erin Andrews in post game interview with Darnold say that Seattle is returning to its first “Championship” game since 2014. But Seattle went to the 2015 superbowl. Any idea what she was talking about? Was that an error? Confused. @seahawksofficial.com

Haha, yes. It's eerie how much this Bears team, who often come back to win in the second half, remind me sooo much of the 2013-2014 Seahawks. And we all know how that turned out. 🏆 😎

I believe it. Just bought a used Nissan Ariya and it's amazing! I'll never go back. It costs 13 bucks to charge to 314 miles and I never check gas prices anymore. Also, I'm starting to associate gas cars with cigarettes, less tolerant of the pollution. I want everyone to have an EV now! 😄

Just bought an EV and I absolutely love it! No more gas stations, no more oil changes, and the ride is so smooth and quiet.

A couple weeks ago, I found myself with a broken car too expensive to fix so shopped for an EV. Can't tell you how thrilled I am with this #Nissan Ariya, a used 2023 model that feels new, is like driving a cloud, and wasn't that expensive. Amazing to charge the whole thing for 13 bucks at home! #EVs

I read this article with curiosity, truly wondering what he would have to say. It was the most convoluted bunch of words I've ever seen. Made me think his brain was damaged somehow, and reminded me of Einstein's quote: "If you can't explain something simply, you don't understand it well enough." 😵‍💫
