Insightful article today from filmmaker Noah Hawley for @theatlantic.com. How after a certain point of wealth, rich men don't see people anymore, they see cardboard pieces to be moved around, or ignored.

I got a two year-old Nissan Ariya for 26K. It drives like a dream. Highly recommend.
Interesting article. Turns out working with AI can drastically decrease productivity. "40% of workers had encountered workslop within a month, and then spent an average of 3.4 hours a month dealing with it, which adds up to $8.1m in lost productivity..."

Exactly. I think there’s some sort of lawsuit or something else coming early next week.
Beautiful article by Charlie Warzel in @theatlantic.com. I've always thought we're so darn lucky this gorgeous Earth keeps steady and turning for us everyday despite our tiny, arrogant minds.

I know, but we need smart people like him on TV.
Sometimes I wonder why we're not fighting harder for Stephen Colbert to stay on the air. Where is the movement/outcry like for Jimmy Kimmel? We need both of them more than ever. @allinwithchris.bsky.social
When I think of how much power retail CEOs think they have, I remember how much power consumers have to buy, or not buy. These people seem perfectly happy not buying.

Here's the most heartwarming story you'll read all weekend. Human beings at their best, in friendship. Gifted link: wapo.st/4lwq9oy
I bought a used Nissan Ariya EV a few months ago and can't believe what a great experience it's been. It drives so smoothly, is much cheaper than gas, no stinky emissions, and the heat turns on immediately! Love that part. And a two-year-old model didn't even cost 30K. I'm such a convert now!
This is pretty, and most importantly, another reason NOT to top your trees.
Happy hump day, everyone!

Good morning. Here's an interesting and somewhat hopeful story about removing Pfas in water. #environment

Still trying to figure out what the hell I just watched. 😵💫 #gohawks
@minakimes.bsky.social I just heard Erin Andrews in post game interview with Darnold say that Seattle is returning to its first “Championship” game since 2014. But Seattle went to the 2015 superbowl. Any idea what she was talking about? Was that an error? Confused. @seahawksofficial.com
Haha, yes. It's eerie how much this Bears team, who often come back to win in the second half, remind me sooo much of the 2013-2014 Seahawks. And we all know how that turned out. 🏆 😎
Happy 2026, everyone! Here's some positive environmental news to brighten your day. Cheers. #happynewyear @us.theguardian.com

I believe it. Just bought a used Nissan Ariya and it's amazing! I'll never go back. It costs 13 bucks to charge to 314 miles and I never check gas prices anymore. Also, I'm starting to associate gas cars with cigarettes, less tolerant of the pollution. I want everyone to have an EV now! 😄
Just bought an EV and I absolutely love it! No more gas stations, no more oil changes, and the ride is so smooth and quiet.
A couple weeks ago, I found myself with a broken car too expensive to fix so shopped for an EV. Can't tell you how thrilled I am with this #Nissan Ariya, a used 2023 model that feels new, is like driving a cloud, and wasn't that expensive. Amazing to charge the whole thing for 13 bucks at home! #EVs
Great article in the @theatlantic.com about how Twitter has become an ecosystem of fake accounts interacting with fake accounts and hence, pretty worthless. www.theatlantic.com/technology/2...
Interesting….
Her father would be so proud.
Exactly! You can see how she’s bracing herself to shake his hand out of courtesy, but wants to just move on and sign that Epstein files doc. #Tucsonstrong @adelitaforcongress.bluesky.social
This is a very well done piece. Enlightening and demonstrates how the internet has shifted how people think, unfortunately. @theatlantic.com
This is so cool…

Good morning, BlueSky! My 'Ann Folkard' geranium is still blooming, just like the Mariners baseball season. This is a great perennial to grow, in #Seattle or most zones. Have a lovely day! #gardening
I read this article with curiosity, truly wondering what he would have to say. It was the most convoluted bunch of words I've ever seen. Made me think his brain was damaged somehow, and reminded me of Einstein's quote: "If you can't explain something simply, you don't understand it well enough." 😵💫
