In case you’re confused - the £100k of tax Richard Tice failed to pay here is totally different to the
- £92k of tax not properly withheld on dividends
- the £600k side-stepped via highly aggressive tax avoidance

It’s a mark of how completely normalised the corruption & depravity have become that we barely bat an eyelid at the thought of two *property developers*, one Trump’s nepo baby son-in-law, being sent to represent the USA in peace negotiations with Iran. Sometimes it all hits you afresh.
I must have missed the Nice Guy phase.
When Angela Rayner underpaid £40,000 in stamp duty, Richard Tice said it was "morally completely indefensible” and she should resign if she had “any moral decency”.
Now we learn he set up four shell companies that let him avoid paying £100,000 he owed in tax and to then transfer the cash to Reform

Obviously it's completely unseemly that they're hoping to bribe Hungarians to vote for Orban. But it's also just bizarre - Orban does nothing for America, but he does a lot for Russia. Why is this Trump's priority? (It's okay, you don't need to answer.)
The irony of Trump calling other people low IQ.
Let’s not forget this.
“God protected us so much that even though their anti-aircraft capability was totally destroyed they still shot down one of our F-15s and damaged various other aircraft”
Strange way to pronounce “disastrous capitulation”
Just not yet.
No surprise. Who’d want to visit America at this point?
And some people stopped talking about the Epstein Files. For five minutes.
He’s been told privately it’s open. So, it’s open. Even if it’s closed.
The torrent of lies coming from Karoline Leavitt right now is breathtaking
I couldn't breathe because I was laughing so hard. That bird's an asshole! 😂😂😂😂😂
Best with volume up.
I think this is true, and a mistake on the part of the people who adopt it. Apart from Phil’s next point (it emboldens Trump and others like him), given the changes Trump is enacting, it will become ever more difficult to challenge him. Leave it too long, and it will be too late.
In much the same way as their anti-aircraft defences had been taken out, which then shot down the F-15 and damaged various aircraft involved in the subsequent Search and Rescue?
A reliable metric for a losing war: notice how often a combatant describes inputs (ordinance dropped, resources committed, duration of operation) as a substitute for outputs (effects a military operation is intending to produce).
“Probably the biggest fan, actually. Many people say that.”
That would be because there aren’t any other fans, other than Truss herself.
By his stripes we are healed. But maybe not those ones.
I am still wondering why American Christians support Trump.
Reform UK hates scrutiny.
I hope Starmer finally finds the courage to face the inevitable howls of 'BREXIT BETRAYAL!' and begins the slow, difficult process of undoing the pointless damage Brexit has done to who-knows-how-many lives and livelihoods. Someone has to, for all our sakes – and soon. 18/18
She seems to enjoy performative display. It’s a shame that she could never extend her range to appear as a human.
It’s probably a good job Trump is moving towards quitting NATO. Otherwise, we’d be facing, very soon, a NATO member arguing, if not acting, on behalf of Russia.
Everyone who ever voted for him should reflect very deeply upon their actions and motivation. History will not be kind/end
Trump may be the worst human, ever. At least Hitler appeared to believe in, and act in the interest of, something other than himself.
Johnson partied as pensioners died alone. Why didn't Johnson get this pressure to resign. Farage appointed a Russian Agent as the leader of Reform UK in Wales. Why doesn't Farage get this pressure to resign The answer is the Tory Press.
Very good from @verybrexitproblems.bsky.social
I was right. He dreamt them.
