The forbidden fields,
And dirty farms.
Roads of mud
And nowhere to go
A windmill that didn't mill
But lots of cold wind,
Strange friends
And a dangerous school.
To show me what you could do,
You became a scout,
And won a golden spoon!

[about my youngest son:because he complained!]
Nothing to rebel about?
I gave you an unsuitable small house in the empty country
From two rooms in town,
To one to share,
A group of mostly red flowers in a concrete trough across the road from the Stephen Joseph theatre in Scarborough.
An hour in Scarborough, to be fair, the sun shone,
But then the bitter cold NE seaside wind! The accessible toilet there is fun; perhaps listed, both numbers one and two. Meanwhile some tankproof flowers opposite the Stephen Joseph theatre.
BBC commements :
Quakerism is almost 400 years old and the faith's values include simplicity, truth, equality and peace. Quakers in Britain said it supported the "right to non-violent public protest" as Quakers acted "from a deep moral imperative to stand up against injustice and for our planet".
Come on, 'carrot', 'cake', isn't that misrepresentation? Can there be such a thing? I suggest that the evidence shall be consumed.
Stop it BB, there must/should be a limit on laughter.
That is where I found my supper, betrayed, but let down by Utterly buttery.
Then it was gone,
He took some persuading,
But I can see, that at his destination, it was only two minutes late,
Not bad for the situation,
But,
He took some persuading!
A busy afternoon at a busy station,
He took some persuading,
He took some persuading,
Over this lift, down the other,
Yes the train is full,
Everyone else is doing the same,
It will get you home!
He took some persuading,
The Chinese chap at the station,
Encumbered with buggy,
And his own information.
I'll soon be having za'atar.

"I’m going to be shouting about this one from the rooftops,” says poet Rachel Long. We can't wait to read it!
These were more than 'how many a penny?' Sweets. Beyond pocket money. Had we been'good' to deserve these? Or pockets full of 'bob a job' : that fraud, however hard the need. A holiday high.
Strange shops to us,
Not at home,
By the seaside.
The taste of a weekend retreat,
Flying saucers,
Rice paper bubbles
Of unexpected colours,
Dissolve to release, pearls of fizz
And the hard bricks, that lasted longer than the sherbet that they tasted of.
It was all a wonderful treat in my pigeon hole today. Train ride required tomorrow, but not with Uber. I can tell I have the badge, because Im sucking the beads of blood from my finger.
Ludlow UK station tunnel, round at one end, gothic at the other. Train moments later. Proper train-spotter would have waited!
Of course I meant 'paperwhite'. I could blame autocorrect, but it might have been me, fair dos. Although I recently tapped originally and it was changed to urinal! Yes, I had touched 'send'.
Good job tech fixed it for me, otherwise I wouldn't be able to read. Can only manage a minute or so on phone before fit. Found I can't manage paper either, but one thing I can survive on for longer is softly backlit paperweight
Epilepsy caused by brain illness. Hope it keeps going.
Here I am in a café, white mocha, raspberry croissant;
While frowning memories
Are tapping their theses.
Tonight they are voting in Westminster for a law that will effectively ban repeat protests
IE you can have one protest march and then that is it
If you break the law you can be jailed for 6 months
Hitler himself suspended the right to protest after he burned the Reichstag down
And so it's Good night?
The news from around the world
All the killing and the strife,
So that's it, goodnight!

Then pink petals fall,
They cannot escape nature,
Spring rain spells their end.

You do not love,
You cried when you lost your wedding ring,
You do not love,
You do not love,
If you did there would be tears now you have lost me,
You do not love, anymore.

Quaker meeting
Sat, silent, in a semi circle, some, eyes closed,
Waiting for god,
Someone lights up
With a story to tell,
Ministering in somewhere hot,
Understanding less.
Where is God?
We are all God,
Friends, start and end, a shake of hands.
Splitting the morning light
Prisms of ice
In the grass,
As the spring sun rises
So does the mist
As the night ice melts
The beautiful Holy Island of Lindisfarne, just as the sun rises.
We have some lovely places to visit in Northumberland…..
