My gushing review of the new #MoogMessenger mono synth. Basically it’s a great synth with a phenomenal filter and I want one in my life after being lucky enough to play with it.

The cruelty in the point. No one they value will suffer so they don’t care. Despicable and short sighted.
Summer storms rolling in to cool the stifling heat.
Sample libraries are getting out of hand.
Awesome to see you guys make the effort. ‘Zines rule!
For real though, how are people remaining optimistic and creative in these turbulent times? I’m trying to read and avoid endlessly doomscrolling but things are pretty messed up.
Any advice or wisdom appreciated.
The score I made for a non-narrative feature film is now online. It did surprisingly well in film festivals during the pandemic… perhaps people were more open to weird films when the world was weird? #synthsky #filmscore #soundtrack

Pete would get lost at the first tequila stand.
Really well done. And some lovely gear too!
Really enjoyed the chat you two had - as a despondent Australian it helped maintain some faith.
Remembering the agony and ecstasy involved with cassette tapes… it’s still more fun than a plugin though. #synthsky #analogsky #musicproduction
Brilliant mix that one. Definitely one that got plenty of play.
Why does the media insist on cute language around it? “Appeared to” is spineless, he did it. Twice.
Each day brings fresh dismay. I’m really struggling to remain optimistic as this behaviour becomes normalised in the world.
Great #dubtechno #mixset that deserves more love. I really don’t understand how the YouTube algorithm decides on what gets pushed vs what doesn’t.

@lizpelly.bsky.social really enjoying ‘mood machine’ so far - the section on curators taking credit for music really resonates… unfortunately!
Classic. It’s a nice feeling when it happens in the wild.
I don’t exactly recall working on this but I enjoyed rediscovering it.
I’m not the only one who forgets making music am I?

It’s almost like he’s never actually interacted with a musician / music lover before. None of those things are an issue for a musician - at all, on any level.
Echidna’s are amazing critters and the cutest method of ant control ever. #australianwildlife #echidna
I think it’s my favourite next to KoB. The atmosphere is amazing.
I’m nowhere near that patient! The info was buried in the manual in a not very useful way so I just made it all into one printout. Although I have used the CC’s and they all seem to work. Really brings the synth to life, especially with a midi controller.
Amazing album.
Had a screening of some soundtrack work yesterday. Always nice to experience things in the world rather than in the studio. #synthsky #soundtrack #audioproduction #animation
GAINS (staging).
I’d honestly rather go to the gym, studio rewires are a nightmare and there’s always one ‘what’s making that hum?’ conundrum.
Looking forward to reading it! Congratulations.
AI bro’s are the worst. Just because they’re already bots doesn’t mean artists have to put up with it.
Beyond nerdy, but if anyone has the surprisingly decent Behringer Pro VS mini synth, here is the midi cc list and waveforms. I couldn’t find it in one place so I made a nerdy cheat sheet.

Bonus points for the cat!
