Yet another thing to thank unions for, along with weekends and child labor laws.

Hell yeah! Badgers represent!
Q: You’re a Republican and you just voted. Who did you vote for?
GOP voter: I voted for Kamala Harris because I cannot forget January 6. It is ingrained in my mind
Sounds good, friend working the DC Harris campaign!
#Michigan Secretary of State Jocelyn Benson says the state is "on track to to break turnout records" today.
"Michiganders are already voting in record numbers."
"We've seen 3.3 million citizens vote before 7 a.m. today even hit."
#Vote #VoteBlue
I love the smell of democracy in the morning. Voted for my first time as an American citizen. After 7 years in the USA it’s nice to do my democratic duty. Everyone else who can needs to get out there and vote, it really matters.
And for the love of god, Don’t vote for Trump.
I find it very easy to avoid NY Times coverage of the election as their tech staff walks off the job by merit of the fact that the paper's coverage of this election is the worst in the world maybe, of any organization that's not obvious state propaganda like Fox News 👍

People Mag’s top story
I see you, People Magazine, the day before the election. 👀
It isn’t. No one ever tells the Trumpers this. Only the liberals and progressives.
I'm not convinced that most mainstream media outlets actually *want* Trump to win, but I am convinced that they're hedging their bets with the correct assumption that Harris won't retaliate for their coverage if she wins, but Trump definitely will. Just as cowardly, though.
It’s the part where most health standards/research/advice are mostly from research about men that is really overlooked.
Cannot stress enough how batshit this is when you look at the research.
We deserve better — dare I say equal — treatment and rights for our healthcare access.
If there is anyone who needs help to cast their ballot for Harris-Walz, please raise your hand. I guarantee that I can find people to help you get to the polls, in these states: ME, NH, MA, VT, RI, CT, NY, NJ, PA, DE, MD, VA, NC, GA, FL, OH, MI, IL, WI, IA, MN, MO, OK, KS, TX, CO, UT, AZ, NV or CA.
Good morning!
Election Day is TOMORROW!
Remember: If you have a mail-in ballot, put it in a secure ballot drop box, NOT a mailbox. In Pennsylvania, ballots must be RECEIVED, not postmarked, by 8pm on Nov. 5.
NYT Games and Cooking are BEHIND THE PICKET LINE. Please don’t play or engage with Games or Cooking content while the strike lasts!
News coverage — including election coverage — is NOT behind the picket line. It’s okay to read and share that, though the site and app may very well have problems.
Wow seems pretty stupid of management to let it get to this point right on the cusp of a presidential election. But it's not like people will be refreshing the page 30 times a minute or anything...
A graphic showing a gray and half-circle gauge with “contract” on the left and “strike” on the right. The needle is pointing all the way to the right towards the “strike” side. The header text reads, “Chance of a fair contract by November 4th: Strike Certain. 100% chance of a work stoppage.”
We are on ULP strike. We gave @nytimes.com management months of notice of our strike deadline, we made ourselves available around the clock, but the company has decided that our members aren’t worth enough to agree to a fair contract and stop committing unfair labor practices.
Ah shit. May he rest in peace.
Pour one out for all the poor dogs who don’t understand why dinner is an hour late tonight.

Here's what I've been hearing from the trans community, from organizers to journalists to random folks:
If Trump wins, many of us won't make it. GTFO of the fucking country, don't trust blue states.
If Harris wins, we'll have long fight on our hands, but at least we'll have a fight.
lol i knew this was going to happen
the right really thought that Biden garbage quote was going to be something
but way more people saw the garbage "joke" about Puerto Rico at Trump's rally so when Trump pulled his garbage truck stunt, some thought he was doubling down on that
What's even more fucked once you read the full story is that the doctor insisted on an extra ultrasound AFTER the fetus was already declared dead while the mother was on the brink of death because they wanted documentation to cover their asses in case of a lawsuit.
Heinous beyond words.
