Woo is amazing. It's great to strive for excellence, take one for the team and all -- but, man -- there's a lot more than just him that's not quite up to speed yet.

“Quiet Piggy” — what a U.S. president said to a female journalist in 2025. Quiet? Never. 🐷👑❌ 🏖️ #NoKings #LagunaBeach #QuietPiggy

DeLauter, what is with that guy? Will he be tormenting us for the next dozen years? Hope it isn't long before he is traded to the Dodgers or someone else in the NL.

Ferry boat food trays could have been so cool — highly detailed, made out of paper, Kleenex box-gauge, stored flat and fold-out and form around a paper bottom tray like a kids’ pop-up book.
THINK, BRAIN!!
There's a good piece in The American Prospect Feb. issue about the business of sports. Brings us all together across the spectrum, as it's being turned into a gated community for the wealthy.
Trump told NYT that his power as commander in chief is constrained only by his "own morality" — brushing aside international law and other legitimate checks on his abilities.
"My own morality. My own mind. It's the only thing that can stop me."
"I don't need international law."
Have a '22 Civic hatchback and '99 Miata, both stick-shift. Really loved the '66 MGBGT back in the day. Now there was a car! Most fun ever with 60 HP. The roads are filled with big, stupid trucks and SUVs. I may have died and ended up in hell!
Kind of a puny award.
There was even a tenant space in the bottom of the "spool" where the cars drive down to the street in a circular path. An Orange Julius at first. Then a vintage clothing store.
The new one was in the mall at the ground floor of the Penney's parking garage. That space is no longer used for anything [storage?] but in its day was a neat little collection of shops and restaurants. If it wasn't related, it was at least a convincing replica.

I remember when they were saying they were powerless to return a man they illegally sent to an El Salvador gulag because it would violate that country's national sovereignty.
Don't recall what year this was [the '90s, maybe?] but do you recall that for a couple years Chavez was shipping free heating oil to Bush Alaska?
As if that would justify any of this. And it seemed like Maduro had been willing to negotiate on that point.
Been having a long text chat with four friends, one of whom leans right. I said, take BACK Venezuela's oil? Did we used to own it? Reply: "I assume he’s referring to Venezuela nationalizing its oil industry and later stripping Exxon and other US companies of assets in-country."

As soon as those marble armrests are in, every show will be sold out!! 🙄
No kidding. I'm going to own that and parade it around proudly.
