Whetstone In which I long for more local arts councils

My ancient literary life...Whetstone, a lit journal run and funded by a local arts council in Illinois back in the olden days when people did that. And they awarded me $500 (which is $1032.50 in today's dollars)!

Krista Robinson, Age 21 3/4, Wants These Things to Be True | The Hudson Review

Yay! The Hudson Review decided to open the online link to my story, so you can read it if you'd like. Note: it's long but it's got Arizona desert, a bad boyfriend who isn't actually a boyfriend, and a scorpion encased in Lucite.
