We Deserve Better Than This….

A mostly brown frog on brown soil and brown leaves. There is a single green dandelion leaf under part of the frog.

A green vertical stem with green flowers surrounding the stem. There is a small tree trunk just to the right of the flowered stem, it extends from the bottom to the top of the photo. In the background is green grass and dark pine trees which are mostly blurred.

The photo is filled with green leaves that are oval shaped and come to a point. There are also many white flower clusters throughout the photo. The flowers are very small and a lot are clustered around each stem. Each flower cluster is approximately 2-3” long and an in or so in diameter .

In this photo there are green stems reaching to the top that end with big leaves, as an umbrella. Under those big leaves are delicate looking leaves with a few small white flowers in the shape of pants upside down. There are brown leaves and a chunk of an old tree branch in the foreground.

From yesterday- first wood frog of the year, they sure do blend in with last year’s fall leaves, I almost stepped on it. The warm temps and rains last week have accelerated the spring blossoms. #NativePlants #BloomScrolling #WoodFrogs
