But I'm not sure there's anything so disappointing and upsetting as having voted in hope for a Labour govt and finding you might as well have voted for the others

However I did get to the bottom of my issue, it was a faulty antenna cable that was causing it to constantly be unavailable.
On top of that I accidentally ripped the strip when putting it back. Replaced it a few weeks ago, only to do it again :(
Yay #homeassistant wrote an automation that checks the weight on my Acaia scale over Bluetooth and after three seconds of time passes (waiting for reading to stabilize) it will calculate how much water I need to use in grams for coffee brewing automatically. No more asking Siri.
There has got to be a better way than @nextcloud.com.web.brid.gy I feel like every update is harder than the last. It's taken me near a full day find and install everything I need for version 30.
I've absolutely adore making integrations for @home-assistant.io ( #hacs ) but my god keeping up the maintenance is so tough, no sure how people do it to be honest.
This needs changing to Companion App IMHO

I do a similar thing but with a power monitoring plug. I started off with the vibration sensor but could never get it to trigger. PM plug is amazing though

This #wled light is the bane of my life right now. That being said I have of course taken the opportunity to upgrade the whole thing 😁. It's a shame we rely on it so much for washing machine reminders.
For context, the strip should run along the whole underside cupboard but it stops in the corner.

Recently installed some water leak sensors and last night, I dreamt that the washing machine started to flood the kitchen, as i ran into the kitchen to see all the water my first thought and feeling was of pride that my automation using the new leak sensor had worked #homeassistant #tocoolforschool
