Tesco can fuck off with their little tokens to vote for which local good cause will be funded. You made several billions of profit last year, just give all three the money you bastards.

As time has gone on I've realized there is a still quite small but now non-trivial chance that the entire Iran War is simply an insider trading operation, creating repeated black swan moments and relying on markets continued willingness to gyrate wildly in the face of absurd and predictably ...

Nuggets, £24 in 2001 on Northampton market from Brian. It's magical, there is always something on there that I'd forgotten, like it's it's own world.

I just did the dumbest thing of my entire career to prove a much more serious point.

I tricked ChatGPT and Google, and made them tell other users I’m a competitive hot-dog-eating world champion

People are using this trick on a massive scale to make AI tell you lies. I’ll explain how I did it

Lots of things are beginning to make sense now. Given Mandelson’s role in the People’s Vote, and his proximity to Epstein and his MAGA/Russian ties, no wonder they dismissed @carolecadwalla.bsky.social on Cambridge Analytica/Vote Leave and our joint investigation into Russian interference

'Peter Mandelson's Fixing of Keir Starmer’s Visit to Spytech Firm Palantir Raises Serious Questions' Palantir was represented by a lobbying firm founded by Mandelson, Iain Overton and Max Colbert report

If Mandelson is being investigated for his Epstein connections, he must also be investigated for his Thiel connections, because they ran a joint fund when Mandelson fixed Starmer's visit to Palantir

IF A MONKEY randomly
hitting keys on a typewriter
for an infinite amount of time
will eventually write the complete
works of Shakespeare, then it
stands to reason that Shakespeare
randomly twanging strings on a
guitar for an infinite amount of
time would have eventually written
the complete works
of The Monkees.
Is there no end
to that man's
talents?

every epstein file drop underscores how elite power operates through shared socio-economic networks, regardless of people's ideological differences, populist posturing, or public feuds

The Epstein files released so far tonight have at least one murder and barbaric depravity everywhere.

and, Roger Robinson has loads of great advice on his Instagram and website.

I think it's more to do with doing it for it's own sake.

I'm reasonably sure that however not shit someone is at something they still think they could be better, we are our own worst critics most of the time.

Not being shit is a by product of keeping going. Not so much practice makes perfect, more practice and the mistakes sound really good. Stephen Fry has a great book on making poems, Jeff Tweedy has a great one called How to Write One Song, which is more about the practice of making things than poems

I think a useful response to the political plans of well-funded fascists is not "how ridiculous, they could never achieve those laughably cruel aims" but instead "they mean what they say, they are going to kill a lot of people before they are stopped, how about we make sure they don't get to try".

The Social Media giants need to be accountable.

Banning SM for kids under 16 simply lets those corporations off the hook and those kids who want to, will not only get round it - but do so surreptitiously and in my opinion that's far more dangerous.

Why is Donald Trump changing his mind every five minutes and saying completely mad stuff an embarrassment for Keir Starmer? It feels like it should chiefly be seen as an embarrassment for the United States.
