This is amazing politics and super cool.

It does seem a little cruel for whoever set up this photo op to put one of the lines of red tape right at head height for the children

Hey donate to my friend who is running for city council in Radcliff, KY. Donate.VoteSerenity.com

She's a trans woman working hard to run in red Kentucky (meaning not Lexington or Louisville)

The last iPhone I had was the iPhone 7, which I had until 2024 because it had the headphone jack.

I now have a Android Motorola with a headphone jack. Not sure what happens if they stop making phones with headphone jacks.

All that to say maybe it's 47 years old of you but it's also right

I actually had to stop consuming true crime content when I realized it was impacting how I thought about the world. I caught myself being more hostile to other people and more racist.

This was one of my favorite things and I feel like I take it for granted now.

Congrats man!

Reopen the Golden Door Repeal The Immigration and Nationality Act: immigration restrictionism is the Slave Power of the 21st century

“In 2025, 31 people died in the custody of ICE. In 2026, the count has already reached fifteen—and it is only April. Nearly every one of those deaths, as with nearly every death in ICE custody, would have been prevented with adequate medical care and humane treatment.”

1. In a landmark ruling, the Montana Supreme Court has declared that the constitution, one of the most progressive in the nation, entirely protects transgender people.

The ruling is even insulated from SCOTUS decisions, due to how state constitutions work.

Not enough people are talking about how hard it is to provide a nutritious, home-cooked dinner at a consistent, reasonable hour when you work a full-time job.

It’s a telling indicator of media desensitization that the US government’s ongoing program of murder on the high seas—which according to the perpetrators has killed fourteen (14) people this week— is no longer a subject for much serious or sustained news coverage.

Hey, so ICE is still kidnapping and disappearing people in the United States.

Just because they got quieter about it doesn't make it okay.

Abolish ICE. Chinga la Migra.

I have had multiple dermatologists blame my cystic acne on my hormones even though I've had it since before transition

I had a dermatologist walk into the room, look at my chart, and say "there's nothing I can do for you unless you stop taking testosterone."

Here's my before and after btw

Unfortunately I live in an apartment and I don't think my landlord would let me install a new thermostat but that's something to remember for the future!

Why isn't there a setting on the thermostat for "I want the temperature between x and y and if it goes below x, I want the heat on, and if it goes above y I want the AC on"?

It’s going to become increasingly harder and harder for people to separate mass deportation from policing and Mullin and the administration are quite sure there’s no appetite for addressing policing.

The Return of Family Detention Under the Trump Administration, thousands of immigrant children have been detained, and many have suffered from medical neglect.

“And it documents accounts of widespread medical neglect of children, including infants, in the care of CoreCivic, the private contractor that operates Dilley, which reported more than two billion dollars in total revenue last year.” www.newyorker.com/magazine/202...

💯💯💯

My first attempt at top surgery was at a Catholic hospital that I didn't realize was Catholic (it wasn't saint anything).

They cancelled a few months before my surgery and I had a mental breakdown.

It took another two years to find another surgeon and get in for a consult.
