Got some bench time today.
1. The next Steelhelm has a big sword so let’s make it flashy.
2. Mortisan Ossifector piece no1 has been cleaned up and rattle can primed.
3. Ironweld cannon barrel put together and rattle can primed.
I’d say I had a productive day today.

The trails will happen again in the future, I prefer running through the countryside off the tarmac or public footpaths.
Thank you.
Something stupid happened, I finally managed to get out for a run, First time since July of last year. Injuries have been a nightmare.
It was tough, but I did it. Start on a short distance and build on it again I guess.
Going to stick to a mile each I go out for now. #running #garmin
Just trying out the new Garmin. Evening walk with the four legged one.
So this time in 12 months I might be semi retired and living in Barnstable, Devon.
Our 10yr plan suddenly got shortened by 9yrs due to a large inheritance coming the wife’s way. This could mean more free time to build and paint models. Woohoo!!
Bluebells looking lovely. Gloucestershire.
Dave, he’s called Dave.
Took the dog for a walk today around Chew Valley Lake, There’s a cracking fish n chip shop there.
While there these showed up.
Number 9 doing fine.
Something else for a change.
New kit that was a Christmas present.
Box contents.
I have been getting bench time. I’am now nearly there with the 9th steelhelm, an Ork I had for sometime has seen some paint.
And a kit I received as a Christmas present, not started but will be soon.
I intend to photograph each and every stage of it.
I shall go look at those minis later.
So far I have 10 steelhelms,5 fusiliers, 5 cavillers and 1 ironweld canon.
I’ve never played at all so I know I won’t get anywhere to start with.
Thank you for that info, it just gives me an idea as to how many units I still need. I will wait for the book to come out.

Question for the warhammer guys and gals with regards to cities of Sigmar.
As I’m building an army of steelhelms etc what would you consider to be the right collection of minis???
Yesterday was a tough day, said good bye to the FIL.
Now reunited with his beloved wife.
Bloody good looking bread to.
WIP What happened? I’ve gone from 4 nearly finished to 7 in a short space of time, go me. Age of Sigmar.
Nice work.
I really need to start again.
Bill taking a walk on the wall at Clevedon sea front. He gets a better view from up there.
That’s why when I drop my son off to work at Tesco at 6am Saturday mornings I do the shopping then. Next to no one in the store.
Zoomies
Today I cleaned up a pair of emerald cabochons for a friend, she showed me the art of gilding. Now I’m going to research this to try it out see what I can come up with.
A sunny walk with Bill finally, Gorse in flower, a broken lamppost with sculpture, the overgrown remains of Mangotsfield station and Bill stood in one of the old station windows.
PS Gorse flowers smell of coconut don’t you know.
Thank you. Seeing yours reminds me I need to start painting again.
I love a barn owl painting. Here’s one I did a few years ago. My sister named it Brian, one showed up the day my father passed away, he was called Brian.
Number 4 is nearing completion finally. I just wish I had more time to paint, I’am loving these minis.
I like orks but these are a whole different ball game.
My own colour scheme for these, I like to think of these hiding in woodland waiting to strike.

Finished at last. Now have material for doing bases.
Some daffodils to brighten your day. After the awful weather we have been having of late, a bit of sunshine yellow.
