In 2019, New Mexico started looking into possible crimes at Epstein’s Zorro Ranch. The Trump DOJ’s federal prosecutors stepped in, told the state to stop their investigation, and hand everything over to the feds.
New Mexico agreed, shut it down, and the whole thing basically went nowhere.
This is actually a pretty good summary of where we’re at, and how we got here.
