A small pretty flower coming up through last year’s thatch grass alongside this year’s first green blades. The cup shaped flower has striations of lavender and violet, fading to nearly white at the outer edges of the petals are slightly frilled. The center of the flower is bright orange yellow and heavy with pollen.
