You have so many things to keep track of and all of these conversations you have in your head do spill out in a way that makes you seem like an absolute crazy person. I can definitely see where everyone around Rand thinks he’s going mad. Stellar character work.

Really loving where Rand is going character-wise. It’s a weird comparison to draw, but his struggle with the responsibility of being the dragon reborn really hits in light of my becoming a new father.

I have finished #TheShadowRising. Honestly, a really great jumping back in point to the series. I was worried I wouldn’t remember the characters well enough to grok the story but you get halfway through any POV chapter and it’s like “oh yeah I get this person”. Absolutely loved it.

You know I’ve always thought that my bad luck was a curse. It definitely is but at least professionally it’s turned into a blessing. Everyone comes to me whenever they want to learn something because “Dylan probably encountered every possible problem”. 😂

I just finished season 1 of #Paradise on Hulu. Boy howdy I haven’t been that engrossed in a tv show in a HOT minute. I cannot wait for season 2. That show truly executed a book experience on screen. Maybe a bit of a cliche thriller book experience but a book experience nonetheless. Would recommend.

It’s really neat how a screen actor’s take on a character can so heavily inform your vision of the character as you read like that. I know for me, the actors from the show are how I’m going to see these characters in my mind all the through. They really did such good jobs

I’ve had a lot less time for gaming lately. Baby in NICU is much more conducive to reading. But when I am home and game I’ve been absolutely loving #ClairObscur. Just finished Act 1 (OOF). Definitely an all-timer. When baby comes home I plan to make more headway from my ROG Ally.

I’m currently about halfway through #TheShadowRising after a pretty big break from #WheelofTime. I’m really loving it so far, Perrin is becoming one of my all time favorite fictional characters. Not a big fan of how the women are written at this point tho.

I think I’m gonna start using this platform as a sort of media journal.

Post-college social media is a mystery to me. Idk how it even works anymore. How did I have the time and energy for this? How do you even find like minded folks to follow?

My replacement at my job uses the top of the keyboard to input data instead of 10-key and it makes training him take 2x as long

Dungeons of Hinterberg might be one of the best games I’ve ever played. My partner and I have been playing it independently and having routine dungeon review conversations and it’s just amazing.

There being an ice storm literally two days after I get offered a promotion that will have me working inside almost exclusively is just swell. Mother Nature making this two week notice a ball 😂
