Yes! That is a huge influence. I'm looking at policy and sociotechnical infrastructure and standardization as part of a current wave of professionalization (among birthworkers)...thinking also like Porter's "Trust in Numbers."

I'd love to hear your view on when GROUP might be a better fit than CSCW (or other ACM venues). The call for papers seems quite expansive but I'm not as familiar with the community/audience. I have a paper that might be a fit but I'm not totally sure it fits neatly anywhere.
