Thanks, as always, for the nice words, Dloitz. You are too kind. The O has to pay the bills somehow. I believe there is a subscription deal going on right now... there should be a link via this story.
A look at how the foundation of the Blazers' multiyear roster rebuild was built on the backs of international players ... with locker room debates about European fries and tales of Arvydas Sabonis and Drazen Petrovic downing a case of beer in Seoul:

The NBA just concluded a regular season with the most international players in league history (135) and the Blazers, who have players born in 7 different countries and on 4 different continents, are a poster child for the record-setting global reach.

I spent some time last night with Tom Dundon at the end of a marathon day, and the Blazers' new owner made it clear he wants "more winning, less losing."
What does he have to say about the status of his coach, GM, president and the roster? Read more:

The NBA has unanimously approved the sale of the Trail Blazers to Tom Dundon and his ownership group, according to two sources with knowledge of the deal.

(The Athletic first reported the news)
I asked Tiago what his concern level was for Grant's injury. His reply: "100 percent."
Blazers vet Jerami Grant did not play in the fourth quarter after injuring his right calf.
After the game, coach Tiago Splitter said Grant "felt a pop" in his calf. He's scheduled to undergo medical testing tomorrow.
A big potential injury for the Blazers' play-in chase.
The final push of Tom Dundon’s pursuit of the Blazers unfolded this week in an opulent hotel in Midtown Manhattan, where the Dallas billionaire and members of his prospective ownership group met with representatives of the NBA board of governors:

Tom Dundon and his ownership group met with members of the NBA board of governors Tuesday and Commissioner Adam Silver said the board should "vote shortly" on the bid.

More to come from the NBA board of governors meetings later.
Injury update on Shaedon Sharpe, via the Blazers:
"Follow-up imaging" on his left calf strain revealed a stress reaction of his left fibula and he will be reevaluated in 4-6 weeks. The Blazers' season finale is April 12, so the injury could sidelined him for the rest of the year.
After week in the sun, Trail Blazers ready to get ‘back to work’ amid playoff push:

The Blazers have converted Sidy Cissoko's two-way contract into a standard deal that will run through the 2026-27 season.
To make room for Cissoko on the 15-man regular roster, the team has waived Rayan Rupert.
A couple injury updates for the Trail Blazers:
•Shaedon Sharpe (left calf strain) has not practiced since the All-Star break and is out vs. Denver.
•Matisse Thybulle (right knee tendinopathy) has practiced each of the last 2 days and his availability vs. Denver is TBD.

I asked Yang Hansen about his favorite part of the Rising Stars game: “I tried to show everybody my “Chinglish," he said via an interpreter.”
But his favorite part of All-Star weekend — chatting with childhood idol Nikola Jokic — had yet to come. “I can't wait to kiss him,” Yang said, laughing.
