or 3
I'd probably go with Television.
This is the correct answer.
I know I'm in the minority, and I know all the reasons U2 ran into trouble on October, but I love this album. It's raw and imperfect in the best ways. I hear seeds of both The Unforgettable Fire and War.
I never tire of watching Bill Bruford with Genesis.
I remember seeing these guys in KC when they were still called Steve, Bob and Rich. Good band.

Not my favorites or anything but nothing takes me back as quickly as these two.
His incredible bass playing and vocals are all over this (he even plays some piano).
Enjoy all the music you can because, except for a few small instances, it only gets worse from here!

There are definitely times when I am not happy I live here. This is one of them.
Live at Leeds (the expanded edition!)
That was the first album I bought with my own money. Being from the suburbs of KC I was always very proud of Kansas and what they accomplished. And even though no original members tour with them, the current version of Kansas puts on a great live show.

"Just use the keyboard."
"How quaint."
I love a lot of LPs from all their different eras but this is my favorite studio album by them, that's for sure.
Blue Oyster Cult opening for Rush. Not only were they great, they came out, played 5 awesome songs and got the f*ck out so everyone could see Rush.
A great pop album that still sounds as fresh today as the day it was released.
Wish You Were Here...just so I could see Syd drop by and freak everybody out.

A great guitar player but a grumpy old man! I interviewed him once. Let's just say I'd rather hear him play guitar than talk :)
As an American I would like to apologize to every person this pathetic fuck has ever insulted. Please don't think for a minute that the majority of Americans agree with anything he says. I couldn't be more embarrassed by this sick human being.
Bruce Dickinson in the early 80s was pretty amazing. Jon Anderson. Greg Lake when he got kind of fat was good, too :)
