Heading: "Measles" Along with the “People’s CDC” logo.

Body text: "The South Carolina measles outbreak seems to have been contained, with 0 cases reported in the past two weeks.

(Knocking on wood!) Unfortunately, an outbreak in Tricounty, Utah seems to be picking up steam, driven by low vaccination rates among school-aged children.

And horrifyingly, the county with the second largest increase in numbers over the past two weeks is Hudspeth TX, where nearly all cases have been associated with a so-called “federal detention center” there."

Heading: "Cumulative Measles Cases Reported in the United States by Year". Along with “People’s CDC” logo.

A line graph where the Y axis represents the total number of cases, and the X axis represents the amount of time elapsed in weeks during any given year. There is a different line on the graph to represent each year and they are labeled from 2018-2026. The 3rd highest line is 2019 which grew steadily until week 36 where it stabilized for the rest of the year resulting in a total of 1,274 cases. The second highest line is 2025 which experienced a steady increase for the entire year with a final total of 2,207 cases. The line for 2026 which is represented in blue is about 1,000 cases higher than any other line experienced at its current position of 13 weeks into the year. Though the 2026 line has not yet completed its progress through all 52 weeks, its current placement is notably higher than other years had experienced by this time.

A map of the United States color-coded in shades of blue and teal displaying SARS-CoV-2 Wastewater Viral Activity levels from CDC Data last updated on April 2, 2026 with a time period of March 22nd to March 28th. Deeper tones correlate to higher viral activity. Gray indicates “Limited/No Data” and stripes indicate “limited coverage” that is based on less than 5% of the population and may not be accurate for the entire state. Blue which is visible in Tennessee and Mississippi and teal which is visible in Kentucky, Louisiana, Missouri, Vermont and Virginia represent “very high” and “moderate” levels respectively. States West of Colorado all show “very low” levels, with the rest of the country showing a checkering of “low” and “very low.” Text above the map reads: Tennessee and Mississippi with “very high” levels.

"Let us also recognize that in these years, we’ve seen incredible increases in public resistance and the growth of revolutionary capacity. In 2020, decades of abolitionist organizing informed racial justice uprisings across the country in the wake of George Floyd’s murder at the hands of police.

Though the genocide in Palestine is as violent as ever, the public’s understanding of the Palestinian struggle has completely transformed as Pro-Palestinian activists have helped people see clearly the humanity of the Palestinian people and the terror wrought by the Israeli government."

"Abductions have been prevented, and so-called “detention centers” have been opposed. Organizers across the country have effectively blocked the building of AI data centers that would consume their water, pollute their environment, and drive up their energy bills.

People throughout this country, many of whom were previously isolated, unaware, or ambivalent, are now plugged in, connecting with their neighbors, resisting authoritarianism, and saying NO! to war."

Heading: "COVID 6 Year Anniversary"

Text reads: "March 11 marks 6 years since the WHO declared COVID a global pandemic.

Since March 11, 2020, we have suffered over 7 million unnecessary deaths and over 777 million cases of Long COVID worldwide. We’ve also borne witness to the ongoing genocide of the Palestinian people. Here in the United States, we watch money that we pay in taxes, now over 20 billion dollars, sent without restrictions and spent on the bombing of schools, hospitals, and press, in Palestine, Lebanon, Syria, and now Iran."

"We’ve seen war rage in the Congo and Sudan–the result of capitalist extractivism. We’ve seen our country devolve into authoritarianism, with the current administration committing extrajudicial killings at home, in the Caribbean, and now in the eastern Pacific. We’re now witnessing the starvation of the Cuban people with a decades-long blockade that’s escalated and intensified, and the pursuing of regime changes by military intervention in Venezuela and Iran.

We’re watching ICE kidnap, detain, and murder our neighbors. We’ve seen historically devastating storms with catastrophic and deadly wind and flooding. We’ve seen skies turn blood red and air quality turn toxic as wildfires ripped through Boreal forests and smoldered in permafrost."

"Six years of preventable illness and death, increasing authoritarianism, environmental devastation, and war.

Meanwhile, we have continued to work, to love, to learn, to raise our children, to care for our loved ones, to buy our groceries, to grow, to fight.

Let us all take a breath."

The circles are either red to depict “imported” measles cases or blue to depict “local” measles cases. The border between South Carolina, North Carolina, Tennessee and Georgia shares the largest blue or “local” outbreak circle of 674 cases since January 1st. Southwest Utah, southern Florida and northwest Arizona have the 2nd, 3rd and 4th largest blue or “local” outbreaks with circles that are sized to a case count of 80, 63 and 40 cases since January 1st respectively. It shows “moderate” levels across 12 states, an increase from our last Report, scattered across the country. It shows “low” or “very low” levels across 21 states and Guam.

Three states and Guam are reporting limited coverage, where only some of the state’s wastewater centers are reporting, so the data is based on less than 5%."

Header: "The Weather" Along with the “People’s CDC” logo. Body text: "Wastewater levels for COVID have reached “high” for parts of the US. The CDC-based wastewater map was updated on January 8, and it shows “very high” levels in 9 states, “high” levels in 12 states, “moderate” levels in 10 states, “low” levels in 6 states, and “very low” levels in 13 states and territories. Seven states report limited coverage: only some of the state’s wastewater centers are reporting, so the data are based on less than 5% of the population, and they may not be accurate for the entire state."
